Guess what!? It's officially summertime! I am SO excited for what this season will bring and I hope you are too!
Before I get into what's been going on, let's start off with a couple updates/announcements:
1. Many of you are probably wondering about what is happening with my tour with High School Nation. Not to worry - it is still happening!! Due to weather (snow days) and year-end testing, it has been difficult to coordinate dates with schools here in the northeast. That being said, the tour has been delayed until the Fall. While we were hoping to fit it all in before summer arrived, it actually is better that it worked out this way because it gives my band more time to work on some new music for all of you! So, this Fall, expect an EP and a whole lot of new merchandise - both on the website and at our shows!
2. Recently, I signed with Another Wonder Entertainment - a booking and marketing agency here in NY. I am beyond excited to announce this because it ultimately means more shows and more tours! We are expecting to get some more dates up on the calendar soon, so stay tuned and make sure to keep checking back here for updates! It's certainly looking like it's going to be a busy summer... Here I am pictured with my new agent, Shan Patrick.
Moving on... My band and I recently played at Montauk Music Festival on May 16th. Besides the rainy and cold weather, it was a lot of fun! I mean, who wouldn't love a day trip to the Hamptons!? We enjoyed playing at Montauk Beach Club and North by Northeast. We also enjoyed our yummy, free meals - a big thank you to both of the wonderful venues for hosting us and keeping us well fed! We are definitely hoping to play some more shows out there this summer! What a great place to share doing what we love with others who appreciate the craft just as much! Also, can't forget the beach... the beach is pretty great too.
Looking ahead, we do have a show scheduled for Cafe Wha? in July. Details for that show should be posted within the next week or so. I also heard heard through the grapevine (lol) that I may have my first tour of the summer starting in the middle of July... I do not have the details on that yet/do not know what it is for or where it goes, but I promise I will post ASAP once I find out! Until then, keep rockin'. xoxo, Ali

April showers (of occasional snow) bring May flowers? I hope?
Happy first couple weeks of Spring! We are finally getting closer to Summer (aka everyone's favorite season)! BUT, before we get all excited about school being let out... you must know that my band and I plan to tour 20 high schools in these remaining two months! We have teamed up with High School Nation and plan to be on the road any minute now. Once the dates are in, they will be posted here on my website, as well as on the Facebook page. Until then, reach out to us on Twitter @IMAliIsabella and let us know if you'd like us to come perform at your high school! Who knows, maybe we'll add a few more dates in there before Summer break?
Now, let's take a look at this past month... On March 3rd, my band and I performed at the legendary Bitter End in NYC. What a blast that was! We always enjoy performing there - a great stage and an amazing sound system!
On March 12th, we returned to Cafe Wha? in Greenwich Village, NYC. We had a really fun time debuting a new song I recently recorded, "Ain't No Grave", as well some other new cover songs, such as "Rich Girl" (Hall & Oates) and "Lips Are Movin'" (Meghan Trainor).
Also, we squeezed in a surprise cover of Miranda Lambert's "Gunpowder & Lead" this past month as well. This song is our all-time favorite country song to cover. We uploaded a video to my YouTube page, but if you haven't seen it yet, you can check it out below:
Additionally, up until present, I've been writing a lot in the city with a couple different songwriter/producers with a focus on Pop music. I know many of you have been waiting very patiently for me to release some new music, so I plan to do so this Summer with a 4 track EP. I hope to have some new songs ready to go by the time we start the high school tour so you can hear a little sneak peak. Make sure to keep checking back here for updates! Xo, Ali

Will the cold ever end?
This month has been absolutely crazy with the weather! We've had a bunch of shows cancelled and then rescheduled, but still managed to have a great month playing Bowery Electric and the BMI Acoustic Lounge at Rockwood Music Hall. On February 18th, we had our show at Bowery Electric. Great place, great people! Our set started at 10:30pm and we danced the night away with a bunch of great pop covers and some originals.
On February 24th, I was invited to play the BMI Acoustic Lounge. I shared the stage that night with another artist, Nisha. Check out the official poster:
Overall, the gig was super fun! We had a great crowd and each shared five original songs. Since the gig was acoustic, it was just me and Ryder (guitar) that night. I sang (in this order) "Love's Gonna Find You" (Ali Isabella, David Myhre, Susan Ruth), "Kiss the Back Of My Blue Jeans Goodbye" (Ali Isabella, Christian Velasco-Mills), "Remind My Heart" (Ali Isabella, Marty Dodson, Ryan Tyndell), "Crazy Beautiful Life" (Ali Isabella, JP Rende), and "Shame On You" (Ali Isabella, Chas Sandford). Shoutout to all my awesome cowriters for helping me create such great songs!
Me and Ryder with the BMI sign! We felt like superstars.
This upcoming month of March, we have a couple shows on the calendar, including March 3rd at The Bitter End at 9pm, and March 12th at Cafe Wha? at 7pm with Smoldr as the opening act. Each show has a $5 cover charge. RSVP to both events on my Facebook page. Hope to see you at one of them! Also, something to be excited about... my band and I are about to embark on a high school tour with High School Nation. We are looking to start the tour within the upcoming month. Stay tuned for more details. Xo, Ali

Happy New Year!
I hope everyone’s 2015 is off to a great start! Last month, on December 13th, I co-headlined a show with my good friend and co-writer, Matt Bednarsky, at Cafe Wha? in NYC. Such a fun venue! We both did 30-minute sets each, as well as performed our duet, “Drives My Heart Wild”, together. Check out some pictures from that night:
On New Years Eve, my band and I performed at the Paramount Hudson Valley Theater in Peekskill, NY. It was a blast! We performed some originals, as well as some covers. Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” and Stevie Wonder’s “Superstition” were some of the new covers we added to the set. We were going to perform Hall & Oates “Rich Girl” as well, but there wasn’t enough time beforehand to practice it – oh well, next time! Here are some pictures and a video of one of the covers:

This month, I am returning back to Song Arts Academy and participating in the Advanced Writers Forum. Absolutely love what Song Arts Academy has to offer. It’s a great place to get feedback on your songs and songwriting, learn, network, and let your creativity shine through! I’m looking forward to sharing my songs and seeing what other writers think and suggest, as well as hearing other song creations.
On January 27th, I’ll be participating in the BMI Acoustic Lounge at Rockwood Music Hall in NYC. The show starts at 8pm. I’ll be sharing the stage with a couple other singer/songwriters, performing original songs in a round. I’ve only performed at BMI’s 7@7 outside summer show, so I’m super excited and grateful for the opportunity to participate in their monthly Acoustic Lounge. Looking ahead, I’ll be performing at the Millennium Music Conference (MMC) in Harrisburg, PA, in February. My band and I will be performing at Whiskey Ridge Saloon on Friday, February 19th. Check back here soon for more details regarding exact time. The event will be added to my Facebook page once the details are known.
Stay tuned… there are some more exciting things in the works! Xo, Ali

It’s December 1st! Happy Monday!
Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and weekend with family and friends. This past month, I performed at The Bitter End. The show was on Nov. 17th and I co-headlined it with my good friend and co-writer, Susan Ruth. It was such a blast! We had a great turnout and it was awesome to see all our friends, family, and fans there.
Fun fact: In the same month, about three years ago, I played my first ever show at The Bitter End with Susan. It was so much fun to go back to same venue three years later and do it again!
I also took part in a songwriting workshop run by Billy Seidman of Song Arts Academy. This workshop was overall such a fun experience! I met so many wonderful people here and was given new tools to further refine my abilities as a songwriter. In the five classes we had, I learned so much from Billy and immediately saw a difference in my approach to writing and rewriting songs. I love how Song Arts Academy makes you think. It puts your skills to the test and encourages you to really concentrate on your lyric content and overall story you’re trying to get across. This month, I currently have two upcoming performances. On Dec. 13th, I’ll be co-headlining a show with Matt Bednarsky at Cafe Wha?. Doors open at 6:30pm and the show starts at 7pm. Matt is flying in from Nashville and we are both very excited to be playing in a place that holds so much history! I’ve wanted to play Cafe Wha? for the longest time, and I am so happy that the time is finally here! Matt and I might even do a duet of a song that we wrote together for my second album. To find out, join us Dec. 13th at 7pm and don’t forget to make a reservation here: http://cafewha.com/event.cfm?id=182823&cart.
On New Years Eve, I’ll be headlining the Paramount Theater in Peekskill, NY. The night kicks off at 9pm and continues through 12am. My set will be just before the ball drops, as well as another one after. If you’re around, come on out to Peekskill and party into the New Year with us! Get your tickets here: http://paramounthudsonvalley.com/events/event/new-years-eve-party.
Looking forward to seeing some of you at these upcoming shows! Happy holidays and happy New Year! See you all in 2015!

Hi everyone! I recently just returned from a mini tour of shows in Nashville, TN, Charlotte, NC, and Gettysburg, PA. In Nashville, I performed at The Basement showcasing songs off my newly finished unreleased second album, “Evermore.” In Charlotte, I performed at Jack Beagles as part of the NoDA Fall Fest, and in Gettysburg I performed at Pike Restaurant & Lounge as part of the Pink Houses Festival. It was such a blast to go on tour with my band! We actually drove to each state our performance was in. It was a very long journey/adventure, but it definitely brought us all closer and the memories are unforgettable. Shout-out to Ryder Stuart (lead guitar), Kevin Myers (drums), and Greg Schettino (bass) for being the greatest band a girl could ask for! Looking forward to getting out on the road again sometime soon. In other news, as some of you have probably seen on social media, I recently released the first single off the new album. So excited to share “Kiss the Back Of My Blue Jeans” with you all. Such a fun, quirky song I wrote with my friend, Christian Velasco-Mills. It's inspired by a relationship gone bad. It's about realizing you deserve better than how someone is treating you. The only way for them to win you back is to literally be "begging on their knees" - and maybe not even then! You can check it out on iTunes and Amazon. I’m currently in the middle of planning a high school tour, so keep checking back here for updates on upcoming dates. So far, I have a show November 17th at The Bitter End, 7pm. More dates will be added soon. Thank you so much for the continued support! You guys rock! Xoxo Ali

Hosted by Duke Ellington's granddaughter, Mercedes Ellington, the event will take place at The Duke Ellington Center for the Arts.
Ali will be performing a very special Duke Ellington song "I'm Beginning to See the Light".

During 2013 Ali had an impressive lineup of performance including the Westchester, NY March for Babies Youth Kickoff concert at Ridgehill to benefit Westchester's 2013 march for Babies Annual Walk. In april Ali was the headline artist at the 2013 "I Create Music" ASCAP expo at LOEWS Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles. It’s that time of the year again! A time of giving and most certainly my favorite season of the year! I can’t wait to be surrounded by all of my family and friends during the holidays! May I also add that nothing compares to peppermint hot chocolate on a cold winter’s day, cozy evenings by the fire, and decorating the house with a whole lot of lights, sparkly things, and candy canes!
I've got a very SPECIAL show happening this month! On December 18th, I’ll be performing at Mercury Lounge in NEW YORK CITY as an OPENING act for Kelley James!! Doors open at 6:30 pm and my band and I will be doing a set of some of my NEW original songs. I am beyond excited for this show and I hope to see you there! For tickets check out the link under my show listings!
For the rest of the month and at the start of 2014, I’ll be recording and putting together my second album! It’s been two years since the release of my first album, “Say You’ll Be Mine,” so I am definitely looking forward to sharing some new music with you all! This second album is going to be different from my first, but still contain similar elements. It shows my growth as not only an artist, but also as a songwriter over the past two years. This new release of music will be very eclectic. It’s going to be a mix of not only pop and country, but also contain influences of rock, blues, and soul. My goal in creating this album is to not only create a sound unique to me, but also to the music scene. I plan to release the album within the first quarter of 2014.
On a fun side note, I’m seeing one of my influences, John Mayer, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY, on December 17th. I absolutely can’t wait to go and I will definitely be sure to put up some pictures on my Instagram!
FOLLOW ME!! www.instagram.com/IMAliIsabella Happy holidays and happy New Year! Hope everyone has a wonderful rest of December! :)
