Hello Everyone!
I hope all is well with you and yours, and of course I know you are most blessed!....I am very excited to announce the kick-off of a Vocal Master Class Series, that my company, Celeste Productions, Inc. is doing in conjunction with Brush Park Conservatory of Music & Fine Arts. Anyone who uses the voice in a creative manner (singers - all voice types, women and men; rappers, actors, spoken word artists, voice-over artists, etc.), can benefit from attending this two-hour seminar. It will be held on Sunday November 22 at the International Institute in Detroit.
There will be a maximum of eight artists which I will work with in front of a live audience. This will give each performer a chance to do her or his piece (about 3 minutes or so), and allow enough time for coaching before moving on to the next artist. If you or anyone you know is interested, be sure to call:313-407-8816. The performer/artist slots are going fast, so call ASAP!.
A portion of every ticket sold will go toward supporting Brush Park Conservatory of Music & Fine Arts. I am especially honored to work with them, and its founder/director, the dynamic Joan Crawford. It is a Black-owned, Woman-owned, Detroit based non-profit organization, that benefits the citizens of our great city. Serving ages 5 to 100, supporting this treasure is a wonderful way to support the arts in Detroit.

Changes in My Weekly Radio Show!!!!!
Just a quick reminder if you haven't already heard: 1) My radio show is every Monday night from 8 pm to 9 pm 2) The location is still streaming@:www.fm881whpr.com (w/a media player) 3) I still play ONLY music that is created by artists, producers, etc. in the 313. All kinds of music welcome, as long as it's positive! 4) We are no longer broadcast on the local Detroit/Highland Park radio dial: FM 88.1 5) I am ALWAYS looking for sponsors! For super cheap you can have you commercial aired during my show(s), and we do have an international audience. If you are interested in supporting this quality programming, contact me. 6) All of my guests are entrepreneurs working in the 313/Detroit city, and I am always looking for more great guests. It's been awhile since I blogged on my Reverb site, but I am excited about all that is happening. Be sure to visit my Facebook Fan Page to see pictures from my book signing at the end of 2009. I will be doing more book promotions coming up soon.

CHANGES! CHANGES!
Well...everything happens for a reason!
Long story short, due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts at The Music Box, (and profuse apologies from the lovely owners of the place), we now must change the date of our next performance.
Soooo, we will nOT be appearing on Labor Day weekend at the Music Box, but instead we will perform the following week, on Saturday September 12. The rest of the information remains the same, doors open at 8 PM, show starts at 9 PM, etc.
OK, I think we are all straightened out now. Whew!
I still hope to see lots of folks there!

Getting Ready for Labor Day Weekend
OK, so first of all, the kick off to our Summer Concert Series was AWSOME!! I will be uploading video footage shortly so that everyone can see for themselves. We had a great time and it was a wonderful night of high energy and music. Thanks to my amazing band, my musical guests (Mary and Richard) and all the friends who came out to support us.
Now, on to the next thing. It looks like we will not be playing in August after all, due to various family obligations and other things that have come up. But, of course that only gives us even more time to get an even hotter show together for you! Which brings me to the latest...if you haven't already noticed, the date of our next show at Detroit's Music Box is Saturday September 5. That's right, we are providing one more fun, music filled outing for your calendar on Labor Day weekend.
Doors open at 8PM and the show starts at 9PM. We hope to see you all there! Peace ;-)

My Summer Concert Series
Hey Everybody, happy almost summer! As you know, my band and I have been rehearsing, low these many months, and we are now ready to put on a show just for you! I am very excited to announce the kick off of our Summer Concert Series. My band, 3-Play, and I will be appearing at The Music Box in Detroit, in July, August and September. More fun stuff to report...and so early in the new year, too!
As of March 13, 2009, my song, "If I Drink Champagne", from the CD, "No Limits", is number #6 in rotation, in Episode 10 of the radio show, Key of Gee Jazz Break, hosted by Gisele "Gee" Caver.
