Okay so our first real tour wasn't really a real tour. We drove to Detroit to play the International Pop Overthrow Festival at Paycheck's Lounge. It was still pretty rock and roll. Highlights include our original room being overbooked and our tour manager booking us a room at a different hotel. (Where's my cricket bat when I need it?) Driving through an interesting area of Detroit to get to the club. (Turn right at the mattresses stuck on a pole.) Rocking our usual fun set of upbeat songs. (Was that a Troggs cover?) Finally catching a late pizza and pitcher of Labatt's at Gracie See Pizzeria after the show. (Prince Fielder on the tee vee!) It was all worth the long drives. Detroit we will return. Now commence with the rocking.
