"You got to be crazy, you gotta have a real need You gotta sleep on your toes and when you're on the street You got to be able to pick out the easy meat with your eyes closed" So go the words from Pink Floyd - Dogs from the album Animals.... and after 30+ years listening to those lyrics it was not until the last 3 years while working on both Variable Touch and In My Shoes did the true meaning of that song come to me. Now at this point it is important to understand that what it means to me right here and right now is not necessarily what it means to you or even what this song and the whole album meant to me throughout the years. More to the point the variations in mood, tempo, attitude and intent through the many movements of this song are reflective in the last 3 years I have been working on the many pieces I have collected for these two discographies. Funny thing technology, because these songs exist in the cloud and on my computer systems I realize I couldn't call these "Albums" because there is no physical media anymore. That too is part of the advent of the changes that I have gone through during the course of my musical career that spans these last 5 decades. In retrospect it makes the song Dogs and indeed the whole album Animals that much more impressionable on me than I expected. Sure when it came out it became emblazoned in my memory. But over the course of many years with many other influences I would have thought that it like so many would be blended together in my overall general influence.. but when I look back at the last 3 years I can see its influence still appear among the many other great albums by Pink Floyd in addition to so many other artists I have listened to and tried to learn from... Maybe in the next effort I will attempt to stretch out my capabilities towards such an ethereal plane of thought. But considering it took me 3 years to produce these two 2 ten song works it may take some time to reach that level... but one thing is for sure... ...I do enjoy making the attempt! ,,,more later!

This is my first foray back into the music industry after a self imposed hiatus of some 15+ years. While I have maintained my chops, my recording skills certainly need improvement... hence technology. However, I decided to leave certain imperfections in the versions of songs I release here so that I maintain a human perspective... and to show that the material is all me, imperfect and all.
