Positive Gig Salad Review

Dixie Rodeo had a great time playing at our last gig. Thanks Cis and RJ!

Dixie Rodeo song of the month

We have always loved Ryan Adams. His new album is out February 17th. Check out this tune... http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/hear-ryan-adams-lonesome-new-folk-rock-song-to-be-without-you-w457626

John Paul White

Check out this cool rendition of the Beach Boys classic "In My Room" by John Paul White with beautiful harmonies by The Secret Sisters... https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=john+paul+white&qpvt=john+paul+white&view=detail&mid=FB3019CA9C3B05D8738CFB3019CA9C3B05D8738C&FORM=VRDGAR

Exciting new band!

Thanks to internet music from Radio Paradise, Dixie Rodeo got turned onto an amazing new band from Southern California called The Shelters. There are obvious influences from The Beatles, The Animals, and The Black Keys, but they have their own sound as well. This is the best band we have heard in a very long time. Tom Petty is a huge fan and co-produced the album. Try Rebel Heart and Gold. Check them out on this link: http://www.thesheltersmusic.com/album/shelters-21901#music

CD Sales

Dixie Rodeo wants to send out a huge heartfelt thanks. We just went over the 500 mark for sales of our first 2 CDs. This makes production cost of our next project much easier. Thanks so much!!!

Studio date...

Dixie Rodeo is heading back to the studio to tweak the final mixes of our new EP "Sugarcane".

Dixie Rodeo on California Radio!

We just learned that select tracks from our new CD are going to be featured next month on a "new release" radio show in California. We will post the details as we get them. It's all unsolicited and involves no "payola", go figure...

New CD Comments...

Dixie Rodeo is blown away and so appreciative of the sales of our new CD, "Professor Doghair And The Captivating Miss Kitty". A few of the comments so far: "Fantastic! I loved how you mixed it" "Nice Writing" "The Gretsch and 12 string sound like vintage Byrds and Grass Roots" "Wow, this was done locally?" "The keys and lead parts are flavored beautifully" "Crisp & tight" "Love it!" "Production is excellent!" (Again our thanks to Chuck Nash and Jim DeVito for their superb studio expertise) "Great harmonies!" "Love the slide and banjo" "Nice variety" "True power pop '67 Whiskey Au Go Go style" We are blessed to have already sold CDs in Germany, Canada, and Australia. It is available at CD Baby, I-Tunes, Amazon, House Of Stereo, and soon other venues.
