Dixie Rodeo on California Radio!

We just learned that select tracks from our new CD are going to be featured next month on a "new release" radio show in California. We will post the details as we get them. It's all unsolicited and involves no "payola", go figure...

New CD Comments...

Dixie Rodeo is blown away and so appreciative of the sales of our new CD, "Professor Doghair And The Captivating Miss Kitty". A few of the comments so far: "Fantastic! I loved how you mixed it" "Nice Writing" "The Gretsch and 12 string sound like vintage Byrds and Grass Roots" "Wow, this was done locally?" "The keys and lead parts are flavored beautifully" "Crisp & tight" "Love it!" "Production is excellent!" (Again our thanks to Chuck Nash and Jim DeVito for their superb studio expertise) "Great harmonies!" "Love the slide and banjo" "Nice variety" "True power pop '67 Whiskey Au Go Go style" We are blessed to have already sold CDs in Germany, Canada, and Australia. It is available at CD Baby, I-Tunes, Amazon, House Of Stereo, and soon other venues.

The Masters...

This is the week we finally get our new CD sent off for mastering. Dixie Rodeo Presents: Professor Doghair And The Captivating Miss Kitty. CD Release party May 29th.

Beatles Tribute Show

We are practicing tonight with a room FULL of musicians for the upcoming Beatles Tribute on June 10th at Mudville Music Room. We are excited to be part of the large contingent of some of Jacksonville's best musicians! See you there!

Working on CD #2

We are currently working on our second CD, and are enjoying our analog to 2" tape experience at Jim DeVito's studio in St. Augustine. We are also having a blast at Zoe Tribe studio in Jacksonville with Chuck Nash. We have given birth to 16 songs that we love, and want on the CD, so we pose this question - Is 16 songs too much for one CD?
