Jesus' View on Marriage (Matthew 19:4-6)

Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female. And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

Holy Communion (1st Corinthians 11:23-33)

For I have received from the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, The the Lord Jesus, the same night in which He was betrayed, took bread: And when He had given thanks, He brake it, and said, Take eat; this is My body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of Me. After the same manner also He took the cup, when He had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in My blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of Me. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till He come. Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. For if we judge ourselves, we should not be judged. But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world. Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another.

Benediction (Hebrews 13:20, 21)

Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you perfect in every good work to do His will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be the glory for ever and ever. Amen.

The Birth of Christ Prophesied (Isaiah 9:6)

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

December 21, 2012 (The End of the World)

Praise the Lord everyone!! As you see December 21 has come and gone plus we are still here! Now there were some people who did leave this world yesterday to go on to eternity (either Heaven or Hell), but God was merciful to us all who are still living to see a day that was not promised to us to see and once again cancelled the predictions of man who try to be on His level of power. When Jesus said in Matthew 24:36, "No man knows the day or hour....", He meant that, and He doesn't lie! We use man as an excuse to not want to follow God, but we still want to listen to what man says anyway no matter how false it is. God is not a man that should lie nor the son of man that should repent (Numbers 23:19)....if we choose not to believe the word of God which is all true, then what will we believe to be true? It's time to stop believing and following after worldly lies and start believing and following the only truth which is the word of God! The world will end but not on our terms, but on God's terms as He sends His Son Jesus back for the real church (His followers). Just because the world didn't end today doesn't mean we should still be ready; Matthew 24:44 tells us we should. Do an examination of your life and see where you truly stand with God. Don't wait until you're at death's door to turn your life over to God, do it now while you're alive, mobile and in your right mind. Remember the only way to God the Father is through His Son Jesus Christ the Lord (John 14:6). Don't be like the wicked who perished in the flood because they loved evil and not God...the Lord loves us all and wants a true, intimate relationship on Earth and for us to live eternally in His kingdom. Remember your life is just a vapor that is here for a short time then vanishes away (James 4:14)....do your best to live for Christ in this life. May you all be blessed everyday!

The Birth of Christ (Matthew 1:18-25)

Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as His mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily. But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son; and he called his name JESUS.

The Birth of Christ (Luke 2:8-14)

And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. and, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. and the angel said unto them, Fear not; for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

Matthew 7:21-23 "Avoid The Drop Zone" Pt. 2 by Elder Forrest Wooley III

Going back to the original text in verse 21, Jesus singles out those who will not go to Heaven despite them professing Him as Lord. Jesus asks a question in Luke 6:46: Why do call me Lord, Lord and don't do the things I say? He also says in John 14:15 If you love Me keep my commandments. In 1st Corinthians 12:3 Paul states that no one can say Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit. These people who professed to be servants of God clearly were not, and Jesus knew it because He knew their hearts and motives. These people were self serving, extremely religious, and very wicked trying to use the name of Jesus to validate themselves and their works. They had an outward appearance of Christianity, but did not have the Holy Spirit living inside them. Romans 8:9 states that anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ is none of His. Verse 22 shows us the examples of those particular people Jesus mentions and there plea bargain for why they should go into the kingdom of God with a report of all the things they did in Jesus name as if they earned their reward. Some people quickly forget that we are not saved by our works, but saved unto good works (Ephesians 2:8-10). Anyone who tries to obtain salvation through works are going to work themselves to death both spritually and naturally. Just because you may preach, prophesy, cast out demons, involvled in many church activities, do lots of outreach, and many other works "in Jesus' name" does not automatically gives you a reservation in Heaven. Jesus said in John 3:3 that except a man be born again he shall not see the kingdom of God. Jesus give His response to those stating their cases in verse 23 which is "I NEVER KNEW YOU!" Jesus is saying that He never had a relationship with them, they never repented, they never submitted, they really never believed in Him fully but were trying to capitalize on His power and image to get the glory for themselves, and while doing works in His name continued living in sin and unrighteousness. Jesus then tells them to depart from Him and calls them out as workers of iniquity, evildoers, and lawbreakers. This is the greatest example of being on the Drop Zone, avoid it. These folks that Jesus mentioned thought they had it made and knew they were going to Heaven only to find out that their names were not written in the Lamb's Book of Life and were going straight to Hell (Revelation 20:15). What a horrible thing to experience, but God has made a way for us to not have to go through that. Saints there is no such thing as 'short cut salvation', there is only one path to God which is through Christ Jesus. Don't get caught in the Drop Zone trying to get to God on your own terms and plans or taking an alternative path away from God for the sake of this world; they lead to death. Get caught up in Jesus and let Him lead you in the path of righteousness which leads to life.

If you are on the Drop Zone in your life and are ready to get off and get saved; the time is now! Go to the Father with total reverence, confess and repent of your sins, confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, give your life to Him making Him you personal Lord and Savior, and ask Him to fill you with the Holy Ghost to seal your reconciled relationship with God, power to endure the evils of the world, and to enable you to live holy and righteous. Once you have done this you are saved, reconciled with the Father, and have received eternal life so start thanking and praising our Lord! If you need a church home Divine Direction is availble to you but please plant your feet at some local Bible-based church so you can continue to grow in Christ and be baptized according to Matthew 28:19.

May God bless you and keep you always!

Matthew 7:21-23 "Avoid The Drop Zone" Pt. 1 by Elder Forrest Wooley III

"Not every on that saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord have we not prophesied in Thy name? and in Thy name have cast out devils? and in Thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess to them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

If you have even been to Kings Island, then you may know about the attraction there called Drop Zone. It is a ride that is like a swift elevator drop. There sits an extremely tall pole that goes to the sky surrounded by several seats for those wanting to experience the thrill of dropping from several feet from the sky. When you first get on you move slowly upward while all the seats slowly rotate. It feels very peaceful and relaxing while you ascend into the heavens....it actually feels like you are going to Heaven to see Jesus face to face which if you know Him it will be a very exciting day! Once you get to the top, you suddenly stop climbing, and the rotation comes to a halt as well. Imagine that moment being judgment day as you finally see God and hoping He will let you into His kingdom because you thought you were good and did many great things on Earth also believing in His existence. After several moments up sitting at the top with no movement, then you drop from several feet from the sky swiftly, your heart is racing, and you have no control of your destination....that moment literally feels like you are going to Hell which is never a good feeling to have. The difference between Drop Zone and Hell is that at least on Drop Zone there is a safe stopping point before you get to ground level then you slowly ease down to be released from the ride as others await their chance to experience what you did; in Hell there is no safe stopping point and there is no release once you are there. AVOID THE DROP ZONE!!

In this scripture, Jesus is preaching His sermon on the mount to the multitude including His disciples. He is focusing on who may enter the kingdom of heaven and who cannot. In Matthew 7:13, 14 Jesus makes the comparison between the strait gate and the wide gate. Those who enter the wide gate where the way is broad are headed for destruction which include many who want to take the easy comfortable path of life when at the end there is no comfort since to be eternally separated from God is the the worse position anyone could be in. When you go through the strait gate, the path is narrow, but leads to life. When you serve the Lord with all your heart, mind, and soul there will be obstacles and trials that will come your way because you are in spiritual warfare and Satan will fight you with everything he has. God has given us weapons and armor to battle him and win....Ephesians 6:11-18 gives us the description of what the armor of God consists of and how it protects us. 2nd Corinthians 10:4 reminds us that the weapons we use for warfare are not carnal or fleshly, but powerful through God for the pulling down or demolition of strongholds. Because strait is the gate and narrow is the way there are few who find it. Those few are the faithful few who are willing to serve God at any cost with all perseverance to receive their reward of eternal life in His kingdom.
