HIGH HORSES hits record stores!

Clarksville's EP is available at Hideaway Records in Chestnut Hill, exclusively. Meanwhile, James hones the live playing of the tunes.

HIGH HORSES single on vinyl

After much ado we've decided to release a 7 inch vinyl single. We figure we can deposit them in record stores and sell them to kids with turntables! Sometimes going backwards is going forwards!

New Directions!

Clarksville disbanded over the summer after trouble getting gigs in the gig economy! Too many cover bands! But this has given James a certain freedom to continue working in an acoustic vein. This has led to some recording and consolidation of material. A 5 song EP is in the works!

The Royal in Glenside has opened!

James is out and about again playing a few open mics. He played two last Wednesday! Opening at the Royal in Glenside and closing at the VHF not too far from there. Complete with backing band. The crowd is getting to know a few CLARKSVILLE songs!

Clarksville in 2022!

We certainly made some new fans at our last gig at the Rusty Nail. Impending snow did not prevent cool people from showing up and dancing. Working on some new recordings now. The songwriting continues!

Covid Comes To Clarksville Again!

Yup. We cancelled Jan. 7 show and then got more Covid so we had to postpone Jan. 14! Then we got bumped from a Feb 12 show. What next? Was hoping 2022 would offer some relief.

Covid Comes To Clarksville!

Not a great week for Clarksville. Our song did not get played on the WPRB Christmas Marathon and the next day Mike the drummer gets Covid. Looks like gig on Jan 7 is in jeopardy. 2021 has been a bugger.

WPRB CHRISTMAS SHOW

We are going to listen to Jon Solomon's 25 hour xmas show Dec. 24 to see if he plays Secret Santa, the MP3 we sent him. The suspense is killing us! Must drink coffee?

Gigs in 2022!

Clarksville is already rehearsing for return to the Rusty Nail, Ardmore PA. We've added one new original tune and, after much ado, a proper song by the Monkees! Mary, Mary, penned by Mike Nesmith. May he rest in Peace.

Life After Milo

We have a new place to play or should I say an old place to play. The Rusty Nail in Ardmore, PA has been there since before Punk Rock was invented! But it has a stage and a willing audience for all kinds of music. I love when kids play Metal!
