Cooking some new stuff...

Had a nice writing session the other night where we worked on a swampy little blues number for the next album. It's called 'Close My Eyes' and we're thinking there's gonna have to be some slide work on a Dobro in here somewhere. Al B has generously offered the services of one of his resonators for the recording. Thanks Al!

Bring on the snow...

New season, new tunes, new drummer/songwriter, Big Fun at a recent gig - and a ton of song snippets lying on the floor - life is GOOD.

Winter and creative projects seem to go well together. Onward!

Welcome Wylie!

Please join us in making welcome the newest member of the flock - Mr. Dave Wyles - drummer, song-writer, singer and all-around good guy!

Dave brings along a ton of talent to the Pigeon Coop, as well as substantial experience as a performer, writer and teacher.

While perhaps best known for his long tenure with Bobnoxious - Wylie has a solid record of making good music with bands such as Requiem, Gravity Pharm, Maelstrom and 5150, to name but a few...

We're quite stoked about starting the next chapter in this Pigeon saga, and we're really looking forward to writing and recording with Dave. Please make him welcome. Introduce yourself to him - buy him a pizza, or something... ;)

A hardy welcome to your new drummer, Mr. Dave! Hope he's ready to fly! Good luck to you all and looking forward to all you do! ~ Lace

We're Working On It...

To quote the good Doctor - one Hunter S.Thompson: "When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro."

Working hard to bring you the new Pigeon songs.

Thanks for all the love!

Oh - and if you ring and get a busy signal, it's probably because the phone is off the hook at the studio. Nothing personal. We're just working on it, that's all... ;)

Until Next Time, Proudy at the Pigeon Coop

Onward!

Putting on some steam now.

The boilers are stoked. The boys in the engine room are grim-faced, yet focused.

All ahead full!

DP Heads Back Into The Studio...

The flock has been summoned back to The Coop to begin bed tracks for our next record tomorrow night.

We're totally stoked about officially starting the next chapter in this unpredictable creative adventure.

Progress reports will be forthcoming...

Until Next Time, Proudy

New photos...

Just uploaded a few new photos from our gig at The Princess Banquet Hall. Thanks to George Bell for his fine work. Check 'em out...

Much Gratitude!

Wow - still shaking the cobwebs off!

Just a short note to thank everyone who had any part in last night's show - THANK YOU to everyone who did everything from just being there, to those who helped with the load-in and the load out. To the folks who did photography, sound, live recording, concert reviews, and the buying and selling of tickets. To the boys in Dave's Not Here for a most entertaining set. To all the friends who bought tickets to support us even when they knew that they couldn't come to the show themselves. To some friends one hasn't seen for damned-near thirty years, for God's sake! To all the old and new friends who came from so far away. And to the entire Pigeon Family of dedicated volunteers, we say: THANKS TONS!

Y'all Rock!

From the Pigeon Coop...

Continued amazement and gratitude over all the new friends and fans we've made here over the past four months. To rise as high as the top 50 on the National Rock Charts has been very exciting for all of us, I've gotta tell ya. Thanks so much for your continued support, and thanks to all at RN for helping us to be heard!

We've got several new songs in the oven, slow cooking - and we continue to write and stitch ideas together for the next album, which we hope to begin work on this summer. We're booking a few live dates as well, so stay tuned...
