Time to complete the project

The Funk That ep should be completed this week. Chuck, Dave, and I are going back in studio and listen and do some tweeks this week. Not too much more to add to the songs. Olivia did an awesome job backun me up with her vocals.

Im glad we got to perform the new material last week. We didnt have a lot of pratice but the show came off great. The crowd responded very well to the new songs and Queen of the Wobble is gonna be a monsta! Stay tuned....

Performing Live Dolo

It's been a long time since I rocked shows solo. It's a different sound with a DJ as opposed to a band coming out of the moniters. Of course all the energy and sound hit you from the back with the band but the crowd energy is the same straight in front of you.

So 1 solo show down and hopefully many more to go. The Kool Keith Show was a hot hip hop show for me. I only did 2 songs without my DJ but house DJ did just fine. I did "How U Want It" and "I Know" and killed my short set, even sold some cds for Da Rez.

Today's show will be more political and knowledgeable party rap show with the #occupy folks. Although, I'm a try and make em party a little. But today I'll be add "Where I'm From" aka the Philly song to the set today, that should pump them up.

These 2 shows are great tune ups for the Dec. 8th show at Dobbs on 3rd South Street. There I will be unleashing The Funk That songs with all my collaborators live on stage with me. Chuck Treece on drum, Xzotic D. spinning, Olivia and hopefully Dez singin and rappin. And a D. I. surprise! So I hope all my fans and friends show up and show out for me.

Standing alone

Im so ready to get this funk out my system and to your ears. Thanks to Chuck Treece and Dave Ivory, this may be my best work to date. I love my band and we shall return to rock yall faces off.
