FLAT OUT Jazz is back in 2016 with a show at The Mercury Cafe'! This is an event that you won't want to miss.
FLAT OUT Jazz is Denver's premier 'Jazz Crossover' band. What is Crossover Jazz? Well, it's songs you know, performed from a jazz perspective. The melodies and lyrics are familiar ... but we play them with a jazz twist. Our arrangements are original and fun, and you are sure to hear something you know and love even if your not a jazz guru. The band will keep the creativity going with a few originals ... but the focus is on familiar tunes.
If you have never been to The Mercury Cafe, it's a 'must experience' venue. With an eclectic mix of art and lighting, and an atmosphere that is both funky and fun, the Merc is a great spot for people of all ages. They feature locally sourced organic food, gluten free desserts, and locally produced beer, wine and a full bar. Room for dancing .... lots of fun for everyone. You will love the cool vibe at "The Merc!"
We will be downstairs in 'The Jungle Room'. The band is paid via a cover charge ($5 at the door) so come on out, spend a little money, and have a great time!

Flat Out Jazz had a good time playing the NEW location of Java Jam Café in Lone Tree, Colorado last night. A great location, menu, and stage will make this a great place for Southside Denverites. Once the live music gets ramped up, expect live music there every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night. We will definitely be back at some point this year.
The weather cleared just in time for some great afternoon jazz in Five Points. Flat Out Jazz had a great time playing the Arts and Venues stage. Great sound and an unbelievable crowd. So glad we were able to be a part of it!
We are excited to be performing at this year's Five Points Jazz Festival. Saturday, May 16th from 4:30pm to 5:30pm on the Arts&Venues Stage. Free!
Happy New Year to everyone and best wishes for a wonderful 2015. Flat Out Jazz thanks all of the great people that made it out to our shows in 2014, and we can't wait to see what great fun awaits us in 2015. Cheers!
