I am so moved by the experience here, I cannot begin to thank enough == You! The people, mostly musicians, from around the world, tripping into RN like I did, well some. Thank you Simon Point, from the Indie Band "Overstop" for introducing me, and encouraging me while asking me to join his already killer Band-who didnt need me, but shared some killer jams both here and @ Sim's Casa de Roberts Ck. I am @ a moment in my Life where I am turning 49...in a few days...dont let anyone tell you 'naw thats 50, or 20 or 30 or 40'...its 49- I plan to be writing here as part of a journal, a record of my experience here, a lot more. I realized what I am searching for here, isn't recognition, it's communication. At least 500 times , I have met someone new, however briefly, and often times been moved to tears and beyond by YOUR music, or your stories,both in the msuic, & when you shared with me, personally. This is also a time when I must say fairwell to 2 amazing musicians who have left RN for their own personal and valid reasons, and I respect them and their right to choose, The first being Bill Higgs, whom I had the GREATEST HONOUR of meeting in Caledonia ontario, in person, after meeting and sharing his music here in RN, for a band that he has severed all ties with. Bill, I hope to God to hear you on here in one shape or form, and If i was to bet, and leak out a possible "Sneak Peak"..I bet we get to hear you rolling drums on Stevie's genius- I will be the first Ticket/Album purchaser for THAT! _EVEN IF I HAVE TO BUY A F^&*N PLANE TICKET! ;) ....and on a somber note, Mr Rick Frost, has deleted his Incredible 250,000 SongPlays and deleted his account. Reverb, I love this website, but Rick made a Valuable point i think you should listen to. If a person Buys Facebook likes and shoots to the top of your charts ,then listen to the music, and it will obviously never be played, are you happy with this? Is this Revrb integrity? If you want to remain current with this terrific Idea of a website...enforce a little quality control-dont worry about jumpin in bed with Facebook- look at your LISTENERS! YOU CAN TRACK IP'S- are "likes" and "Songplays coming from 1 computer? I would also like to say : "hello " to Identity, Fefe you are so gifted, and your story is SO touching-please get on that road and share if you can! Stevie you know you rock m'friknworld(KHAMSINA SIREN) has been written about you. Today I am in confounded shock at the explosion of Song Plays on this website. As I type I am @ 21,848 which is 1483 in one week, and if you count today's hits = 1500 in one week. I have just experienced my two closest RN Buddies leave their repective sites, here, and I am so grateful to these new friends I have met in the entire experience here. I look forward to meeting more of you amazing musicans, and also 'friends' who join RN as listeners. Thank you for listening and feel free to comment or message me. I am starting a side project with a dear friend who's amazing guitar skills have been kept secret by his choice of lifestyle-having been a consumate family man my buddy has recorded two songs with me last week and we will upload them here before we Start a Webpage after the band introducing; "The Pussy Traktor Beams" I have requested in past Blog(s) a number of musicians to join me on a sort of RN Allstars Band, but for various reasons, no one has accepted the offer to come here and record, except Rob Baird. And two weekends ago my brother and Best friend Robert John Prescott dropped in enroute to Ont., and recorded bass on a remix of Dope, to be named By Natasha B; and "Like spirits dance" also a new song from the 2nd up coming CD. At This point August 31 may still be a reasonable date to release My 1'st CD : Joe Williams Chill Tunes (tm). Number 2 may be delayed with the PTB's and I am officially announcing the auditioning for Bass, guitar, vocals , keys, and want to remind Colleen; I heard you sing - you are # 1 Invite : Talent and Beauty.

I want to share the experience of the "Real..Burnaby Blues fest"...yesterday in Burnaby @ The Bluesrider's home in Burnaby/on the edge of Vancouver = Live drums and amps, pa and keyboards. Backyard / neighbors invited and contributing to delicious BBQ and vegetarian dips, bottled water and Music Non stop till 12:30 midnight. 20 + different performers of entirely random playlists- each contributing free for the neighborhood until the police closed us down :) It featured a reunion of two awesome musicians whom,I was fortunate to be able to record with in the past, Mr Hart Goetze, and Pete Curly who both performed on The
Cover of "Wild dogs" Hart I have had the pleasure of knowing since 1990, and have been in at least one band, and share an Improv stage with him at 100's of occasions. He is a consumate drummer extraordinaire, who's ability to fuse the (often) disparate parts of several instruments of a free-form, free-style into a cohesive intense experience, makes Hart simply the best improv drummer on the Planet , bar none. His 'first takes' outweigh hours of studio! Get well soon, my brother. Mr Pete Curly is an extraordinary bass player singer songwriter who's part on wild dogs changed that song for me forever...I enjoyed our conversation yesterday, Pete, and you should introduce yourself to some of these amazing musicians who have introduced themselves to me through this Melting Pot that RN is. We dont take it too seriously, it is after all, just ROCK & ROLL! ;)

Passed 19000 song plays! and will be hitting 20,000 song plays in a few days. I never dreamed anything like this could happen. And it comes after having just spent the weekend with my Brother Robert John Prescott, and his wife Carolina and had one of the best weekends of my life! We recorded two bass tracks with JP playing Bass on "Dope" the remix, which will be renamed by My Childhood friend (Less B.)'s daughter, Natasha , and a new track I will be releasing in a few days called "Like Spirits Dance" dedicated to the most beautiful woman I have ever met. You know who you are, and when I met you, and poss., how I feel about you. And we brainstormed some ecological ideas. And laughed. And ate Guacamole and Pizza! I am blessed and grateful for the magic this life has given me and the magic you people have shared. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Everyone of you.

New approach to Recording, and songwriting, including time from guitar Live to Cd burner/mix master/cdburn/mp3 convert and on reverbnation in 3 hours...I welcome input creative criticism and honest "takes" on the sound and recording quality...it helps me know next time.

I am gonna put this out there, mostly because i am a 'Puttin it out there kinda guy, I have had a dream to Jam on top of a Pyramid . But now I would like to play/jam/podcast from a pyramid, with "the reverb' allstars!" Imagine, any members of these bands Overstop, Damn Pigeon, Rick Frost, Khamsina, Renea, Anchorage Alaska, Mayan Maze, Justin Langston, The Pizza Kings, and countless others,.... What a Jam that would be.

This year is flying by. Hard to believe I just found Reverb last Year. I saw some fb pics of the Bikes in pt Dover, Ontario , where all riders gather every fri 13.
I missed Dover on my last trip-definately on the list next time:)
