Blog #2

So, it's been four months since I started sharing my musical thoughts turned audio files with whomever would listen. First off I'd like to thank those of you who tuned in and those of you that responded if you were sent a personal message. THANK YOU!!! And B, say how disappointed I am in those of you in the Atlanta music community I have reached out to that did not deem my contact worthy of your response. This type of thing doesn't usually bother me except for the fact that some of you are the people I respected and looked up to the most in our local community. Whatever it takes to get into your clique, I ain't doin' it. But, good luck at whatever you guys are doing. As most of you know I have competed a new song, UNTITLED 384 (The Becoming). I hope you like it. I'm really starting to consider amassing these tunes into a CD for purchase. I figure I need two or three more songs to do that but I feel I'm off to a pretty good start. Please, if you dig the music, feel free to share any of my posts. Thanks again for listening! Until next time...

Selfish Beginnings

Alrighty then. This is my first blog ever. So I'm just going to be focusing on writing the kind of music that I loved and learned as I was learning to play the guitar. The tracks, at least for now, will be all home recordings using a Pro tools set up. All sounds other than guitar and bass are Expand or BFD sampled drums program based. Bass and guitar are run through a Line6 POD XT Live. The guitar sound on "Double Edged" is the Variac mod, my favorite sound in the POD. So, did you learn anything? I'll keep you posted as I add new tunes, if I can remember I have a blog now. Sheesh.
