How the song Wishing Well came to life

I had promised at one of my shows that I would put on my blog about how the song Wishing Well was born .....so here it is . I was home from work lying sick on my couch with the flu in the Feb of 09 . After watching tv for about three days tyring to recover from this God awful flu I noticed that everytime I changed tv stations i would catch a eharmony.com commerical. This happened for three days constantly.....But finally thier marketing tatctics got the best of me. So to make a long story short (YES)I got up headed to the computer and I just knew that I was gonna find my soul mate, and I was so eager to hurry up and get this long survey///interview filled out so I could see who this young woman was . Now being at the end of my questionaire I was. aked one final question, And that question was ??? How Far Are You Willing To Travel To Meet Your Soul Mate???? It gave me options of 50 - 2500 miles and even world wide . Curiousity was killing me at this point !!! So I clicked world wide......then the hour glass appeared....it was searching......searching......searching And then it happened......to my surpise my results said in Bold letters ....SORRY YOU HAVE NO MATCHES AT THIS TIME.. So at that point I picked up my guitar(after my ego was Crushed, my feelings hurt ) this put me into the perfect mood for writing....I was humming a little tune , and thought of a few old sayings I had heard as a young man in the hills and hollers of WV where I grew up ....thus mixing the tune, feelings and things I heard as a kid into a big ole pot .....stirred a little.... and ta da... thats when the song Wishing Well was born..... Hope you enjoy......
