Urban Country Music Festival - Caboolture, May 2012

Great festival, really enjoyed the atmosphere through the whole weekend.

Friday night kickstarted the festival with the first of two ticketed concerts. Australian country music legends Beccy Cole and Lee Kernaghan teamed up to take the show before Shannon Noll took the stage.

Saturday's festival experience was great, spent some time at Pioneer Cottage doing my thing and was interviewed on 101.5FM afterwards. Then I caught some great songwriting talent at the Songwriter's Cafe.

Saturday night was another great ticketed concert. Troy Cassar-Daley and Adam Harvey were the stand-outs of the night, although full marks go to Jeremy Marou (of Busby Marou) for his virtuoso performance - A ukelele solo that sent shivers up my spine.

Sunday was more wandering, listening, playing and relaxing. Rocked out with the boys at Pioneer cottage stage again, caught the lovely Sista Burley at Songwriters' Cafe and ended the night being amazed by The Round Mountain Girls at the Urban Blaze concert.
