We want to keep you better informed (we're a bit late on our 2010 resolutions here) so please mark your calendars:

November 21st - Additional new styles loaded onto website.

November 25th - 1st ever "Black Friday" sale along with a Red Monkey bag promo! Check our Facebook page for details and times.

December 1st - All additional Holiday styles loaded onto website. T-shirts become available online - look for these to FLY-OUT!

We're having a blast and want you to join us! We're committed to keeping everyone better informed of our events (did you see us featured on NCIS Los Angeles last week?) and wish everyone a Happy Holidays!

Lorenzo Played for 32,000 in Savannah

Lorenzo rocks in front of 32,000 | Rock-n-Roll Marathon Headlines

Posted in News by admin

Below are some links and news clippings regarding the Rock-n-Roll Marathon we played this passed weekend.

From SavannahNow.Com Early morning rock and roll

Band members from Savannah’s own General Oglethorpe & the Panhandlers, along with hard rockers Lorenzo were setting up on the parkway near mile 23 by 8:30 a.m. — much earlier than they typically take the stage.

“It’s a little early for rock and roll time,” said Lorenzo bassist Robert Dirr. “Sometimes we’re just getting to sleep around now.”

General Oglethorpe took the stage first, in time to greet the first-place runner about 9:30 a.m., who was leading by about five minutes. Guitarist Devin Smith said they revved up the tempo of their songs a bit to help get the heart rates up as the number of runners steadily increased. The encouragement appeared to be welcomed, Smith said.

“They were running so they can’t say anything, so they just threw rock fists up,” he said.

It is with the band’s deepest sympathy to pass on our condolences to the friends and family of a runner we only know as “Tom” at this point, as he passed away in front of the Lorenzo stage on Saturday afternoon. A truly sad and tragic event that you can’t ever prepare for. We unfortunately don’t know more about the runner as the family is requesting privacy during this difficult time.

Rest in peace friend.

On the Road Again...

Well, we promised we would come back to Greenville, SC and we are – Oct. 7 at Gottrocks, followed by Oct. 8 in Raleigh at the Ampitheater with the singer of Live, Ed Kowalczyk!

Before all that, we will be playing in Dayton, OH while we are finishing up some tracks for the new CD at In The Red Studio. Come see us at Setters and help us raise some cash for Coley and her surgery.

It’s a great reason to come out and enjoy the music!!!

See you at the show!
