SHADOWS DOWN and SLYTHER Totally melted everybodys face at Bennys Tavern last night. The show was packed and totally awesome! Both bands cranked out original after original! Billy and his sound and light crew were amazing! I cant wait to do it again!
It was a lot of fun opening for Junkyard Masterpiece last weekend at Benny's Tavern. And as fate would have it, we get to have our own show there this weekend.. And joining us on stage is the High Energy metal music of Power Drive & Aggression. These guys really came through at The National with their special brand of original music. I hope to catch some of my friends there this weekend, as well as make some new ones! Richmond rocks.. come on and find out for yourself just how much it does with Slyther!!!
Wow, what can we say? We asked four local bands to come out to support us in our headlining show at The National this past Saturday. Every last band brought what they had promised. We were pleased with everyone's effort to make this show a success. Everyone DELIVERED! Once again, we would like to thank Legion of Ravens, Sight Obscene, Power Drive & Aggression, and Junkyard Masterpiece for making this a special night that we will not forget! We are already working on another date that will expose more local talent on the big stage that is The National! We are in the process of setting up gigs, look for Slyther at a bar or venue near you soon! Peace, John William
The band is very excited to be returning to The National in Richmond, VA Saturday night. We have had the good fortune of playing here before, and enjoyed a great experience with the staff and the professional attitude everyone displayed. The sound system is the best in the area. The venue is small enough to be intimate, but large enough to hold over a thousand people. We enjoyed working with Tony Harold of Entertainment Live and with the Susan G Komen Foundation the last time we had the opportunity to play at this classic venue. Slyther has a bright future in our current configuration, currently moving fast up the charts on the ReverbNation local band rank listing thanks to the interest in our band and all of our new fans! We are working with four great bands tomorrow night, bringing Richmond a night of original showcase music by local musicians. This is where it all begins! I can't wait to get on stage and have some fun! See you there!!!!
