FINNEGANS WAKE AND THE TROUBLES

The Troubles will be returning to our beloved Irish Valley in Heckschersville to do a benefit performance for good friends and our brother AOH members at Cass Township on Sunday, June 26th. The day starts with a Walk to St. Kieran's Church and Cemetery at 11 am. Festival grounds open at 10 am. The Troubles will be playing from 12:30 to 2:30 with Finnegans Wake to follow. There will be be various organizations representing. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase.

All proceeds benefit Cass Township AOH. Thank you to the Clover Fire Company for the use of their grounds and facilities and to Cass Township for having The Troubles back.

It's Parade Day in Historic Girardville, Pa.

The Troubles will see everyone along the parade route at the Best and Biggest Little St. Patrick's Day Parade this side of the Atlantic!

This is one of my favorite days of the year!

Thank you, Lake Wynonah Lodge!

The Troubles had a simply grande time with all the folks at The Lodge, Lake Wynonah, playing for their St. Patrick's celebration last night! Thanks for all your hospitality. Happy St. Patrick's Day one and all!

In Search of a Local Venue for a Performance to Benefit the Hillside SPCA

The Troubles are searching for a local venue in Schuylkill County, PA who will host us for an annual fund-raising event this St. Patrick's Day season.

The venue where we have done our annual fundraiser for the past 3 years (our past fundraisers have benefited St. Joseph's School of Special Learning, The Schuylkill County Diabetes Association, and the American Cancer Society) unexpectedly cancelled our event after already giving us the go ahead and a date.

As a result, with only a month to go, we need to to find a new venue. The event "An Evening of Irish Music" was originally scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 27th, but we have a little wiggle room left for an alternative date in our current show schedule.

The Troubles plan for all proceeds from the event to benefit the Hillside SPCA this year.

Without a venue, however, the show needs to be put on hold. The Troubles would like to see every cent possible go towards helping out our four footed friends while keeping the admission price down so folks can afford a fun evening of music.

Right now, we still even have Thursday, March 17th - the Big Man Himself's Day, open! If you know of some where here in County Schuylkill that might savor a bit of Irish music during the month of March and are interested in hosting The Troubles, please have them give us a call at 570-544-5455 (ask for Paul). We promise a fun night of Irish music and the chance to feel good about helping out some of God's critters that haven't had it so easy lately.

If somehow the show fits ;), please give us a holler. Thanks for listening - and even if you can't help us out, maybe say a little prayer to St. Patrick that we find some one who can!

Happy 2016!

It's a brand new year and we've got three months until St. Patrick's Day! Booking now - give Paul a call at 570-544-5455 or email me at sweetloretta55@verizon.net . We'd love to give you a quote for your St. Patrick's Day event!
