Canadian Music Fest @ The Hard Rock Cafe

The show at The Hard Rock Cafe last night was pure magic. The stage came alive and took on a life of its own as the band opened up with 'Porn Star'. As the house rocked, so did the people. by the end of the set, the crowd was left wanting more, like a starving man after his first sandwhich. Get ready 2009... WP is here to rock the planet! Wank Punter at The Annex Wreck Room

The show at The Annex Wreck Room last night March 4, 2009 stopped the crowd in it's tracks. Fans were left awestruck by the spectacular display of light and sound, complimented by the ever popular Fluffettes. The Discombobulator astounded the crowd with lightning fingers that are hard to follow and Stix McCaulkener didn't miss a beat. Of course the ever popular Cherry Poppins and Mistress Kandy Kane kept the boys rockin' by providing thier part of the solid backbone that any great act needs to be truly spectacular. Come and see Wank Punter Saturday March 7th at Rock and Roll Heaven for The Benefit for Sick Kids. WP goes on stage at 8:30pm for a 30 minute show that you DON'T want to miss! Wank Punter at Lees Palace replacement

Unfortunately, Wank Punter has had to cancel our date at the Palace for the 20th of February due to an unfortunate accident involving our sub guitar player. As a result, he is unable to perform on that night and with such short notice, it is impossible to get another sub who already knows the set list. Taking our place that evening will be the The Mudmen, an awesome group of reprobates with bagpipes. Many fans of Wank Punter are also big fans of the Mudmen so I'm sure a lot of you won't be disappointed with the switch. We will be back in full force for the March 4th date at the Annex Wreckroom as our main axeman, the Discombobulator will be with us. We will be sure to make up this date at Lee's some time in the very near future and better still, we will have the Discombobulator at the helm. Not to take anything away from Gyno-Man, our sub on the axe, but seriously, no one can burn the fretboard quite like how Disco (our term of endearment for the man) does. So guys and gals, don't strike the 20th off your calendars. The Mudmen are an AWESOME band with the WP seal of approval!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wank Punter at The Red Rooster review

The show at The Red Rooster brought down the house a way that ONLY Wank Punter could. With hits like 'Supersize Me' and 'Driver', the house was rockin' and rollin' like Burlington has rarely seen. Fiona Fox put on a fire show that was (in my opinion) second to NONE, and had the house excited like cops in a donut factory, and Sassy provided her usual provaocative allure that mezmerises. The discombobulator was the David Copperfield of lead, working his usual magic with lightning fingers, and Busta Liberaunchy (keyboards) and the newly crowned Chief Kamanawanaleigha (bass) were practically dancing in the air with thier own special styles. Let's not forget the incredible percussion section headed up by the one and only Stix McCaulkener, and the band's very own Mistress Kandy Kane and Cherry Poppins; providing the last of the solid backbone that every rock and roll juggernaught needs to have the fans rockin' 'till they're droppin'... Our next show is at Lees Palace on February 20th in Toronto Ontario. We welcome all of our fans to come and be part of the phenomenon. Richard Ravenhawke
