The Irish Cottage in Franklin was rocked thoroughly on Sunday. Uptown with Downtown's Donny, Jimmy, and Nathan were joined by guest rhythm section Tony J (drummer extraordinaire) and myself. Special musical appearance was made by Rongo from the Cream City Convicts. Jerry sat in on drums! Thanks to the band for having me there, and to Angela for bringing her wonderful voice to the mic! Good to see Muddog, Gator, Lion, and all the other animals that made it out Sunday!

Good turnout at Mo's Irish Pub on Saturday! Pleasantly surprised, since it was a holiday weekend and many people were out of town. But considering the venue, not surprised that much that there was a good crowd. Thanks to everyone for coming out and dancing all night at the show, and taking the time to say hi to us. And special thanks to Kurt Z, who filled in on guitar with Jackie Brown & the Boys. Good job!

This past week was a cool one at Lanny's Nesting Goose studio. One night, I had the honor of having two of the singers of the Tygers tracking backup vocal parts to a song of mine called Pale Grey Eyes. These guys are the real deal, and right into the retro feel! The next night was no less a gift, with Jeff Pietrangelo (Matrix) coming in to play trumpet on a song I wrote called Turn on the Dime. This veteran jazzman arrived at the session well prepared, obviously having listened to my song - he even charted out his parts in sheet music! I'm not sure what to say about having musicians of this caliber taking care with this recording project...except that it feels real good!

Rockin Robins want to thank Jennifer and Cameron for inviting us to perform at their reception! It was a great time. We appreciate your generosity, even seating us at a table to enjoy Maggiano's fine food!! Great to see all the local dancing enthusiasts show up and help make this one an event to remember!

A great time was had by all last night at Rocco's in Bayview! The crowd was hot, and so was the band. We played a drum-less show! The dancers were up and moving even without a beat! Good energy!!

We had a blast playing for your annual car show this weekend. Saturday night was a thrill, with a seven piece band, and many of the Boondockers had their 50's costumes on.
