Keep it movin'

Check the new recordings, they may sound a little different. We took additional takes on vocals on Undying Allegiance and Parabola of an Empire, as James has become much more comfortable in the 'front man' position since we first recorded. Tell us what you think! Leave comments on our Facebook or Reverb Nation pages. We want your opinions!!!

Still seeking

As you may know, our front man left back in January. we have plans to start playing shows with our current lineup, minus one vocalist. WE ARE STILL LOOKING FOR A PRIMARY VOCALIST!!! if you know anyone please turn them on to us. thanks for your support, we'll see you soon!!

New Demo!

We finished recording the new members (and instruments) of Omega Dawn. We made these tracks streaming for all, and downloadable to anyone who joins the mailing list. Come check 'em out and give us some feedback.

Omega Dawn, reformed!!

it became official yesterday, andrew van guilder and alex Georgiadis made the cut into Omega Dawn. we welcome them, and if you guys are fans of the band and don't know them, feel free to drop them a line and say hey. we'll be working to get the new members recorded on the demo asap so you can hear what the current lineup sounds like. we'll keep you posted!!

Welcome to Omega Dawn, Mr. Elliot!

well, we told you guys that we've had some people working hard to get into this band, and one of them has done it. Omega Dawn welcomes Sean Elliot on guitar! Sean has been playing with us for about a month and a half or so, and has shown a great love for the music, and more importantly, the ability to learn, play and integrate Omega Dawn material as his own. Thanks for your hard work Sean, you are making our goal of playing shows by the end of summer tangible and real! thank you, and welcome, sir!

well, things are moving along quite nicely with the two axemen we are working with. they have a good 80% of our material learned, and right on track to helping us complete our lineup. meanwhile, a promising lead on our front man has arisen. Alex came to us a week after we heard of his interest in our band and nailed a good portion of undying allegiance, right there on the spot, even while i (James) did a TERRIBLE job of trying to play guitar (it's been about two years:) and back him up on vocals. well done, sir. just wanted to let you all know that things are still moving forward!

Working hard!

we're working hard with two guitarists that we feel may work for our lineup... we'll keep you up to date on what's happening, but for now the four of us are jamming together, and both guitarists are working hard to learn the current Omega Dawn material. thanks for your patience, guys, it will pay off!!

thanks to a good friend, james picked up a fretless bass this week and is working on transposing 3 songs to it. we'll get to you guys with progress, and james is working the instrument into his regular playing. fretlessness is happyness!!

News for You's

Sorry about the delay in our widespread communications, guys, we've been a little busy recording. That's behind us, for now, so we'd like to get in touch with you. James left for a short trip in Las Vegas unexpectedly on Thursday, so things have been a little hectic. So here's some updatage: Our session last Tuesday with a talented young guitarist, Mr. Andrew V.G., was quite encouraging. We've all agreed to meet frequently over the course of the next several weeks, and i think it's safe to say we're all pretty excited about it. This kid is 15 years old (hence, no full name:D, and the fact that we're taking the time to see if he's a fit for us screams volumes about his talent, potential and capability. James comes back on the 26th, so we'll be hard at work upon his return. We'll keep you posted as things progress, do whatever you can to make a positive contribution to the world that we share.
