Like a Tardis

This week's Boulder Weekly horoscope for Scorpio seems to capture my relative inability to describe the music: "In the TV show Science-Fiction show Dr. Who, the title character lives in a time-machine that is also a spaceship. It's called a Tardis. It's barely bigger than a phone booth. But once you venture inside, you find it's a spacious chateau with numerous rooms, including a greenhouse, library, observatory, swimming pool and karaoke bar." Paraphrasing - This is an excellent metaphor for Signel-Z, a Tardis of music and far bigger, deeper sound on the inside that it would appear on the outside.

Happy New Year, 2015!

Well, we survived the NY Eve festivities at the Stanley and the recording progress is coming along slowly but surely! Hopefully, we will be able to issue a CD release date within a couple of months!

Signel-Z Private New Years Party at the Stanley Hotel

I hope that Jack Nicholson is not there, that would be uber-frightening (remember The Shining, filmed at the Stanley?)!

Great Gig at The Millsite Inn Yesterday!

The Millsite Inn is a cool roadhouse located about 12mi N of Nederland in Ward, CO near to the Brainard Lake entrance on Hwy 72. It was great fun playing on their outdoor stage. Chris and James did an awesome job as did Grove Stafford and Jerry Capone sitting in guitar and drums respectively. It was indescribably great fun to crank the 8-string through two big rigs too!
