New singer for MadSic!

MadSic is proud to celebrate our independence from being an instrumental band in the studio by welcoming our new singer Matt Seibert, formerly of the south Florida band Southgate. He recently provided vocals at the Metallica Tribute show at Archie’s West last Saturday, a killer show! Our first studio rehearsal with him Wednesday went great! The new songs we have written for our next CD Death By Machine are now going to be taken to the next level, if Wednesday is any indication. We will be doing a couple more rehearsals with him to get the ideas flowing, then into the studio to start work on laying down some vocal tracks. Will send you some rough mixes with vocals as soon as they are ready. Franz is eagerly waiting the arrival of his new 8 string guitar, then he will begin laying down final guitar tracks in the studio. He has been using an Ibanez 7 string on the scratch tracks, but when he heard what the new Ibanez Tosin Abasi TAM10 8 string guitar will add to the sound he had to have it! The link to the guitar is at http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/TAM10WH/ if you want to check it out. To enjoy the new rough mix teasers at our Reverbnation site at http://www.reverbnation.com/madsic Also feel free to stop by our Facebook and YouTube sites https://www.facebook.com/pages/MADSIC/402147140318 http://www.youtube.com/madsic1 Have a \m/ad Sic 4th of July and thanks for following our progress in the studio!!

New MadSic rough mix teaser My Precious

As we continue our search for a singer and a bass player, we invite you to join us in the recording studio as we work on our next full length CD Death By Machine. We will be releasing weekly rough mixes to give the fans and potential new MadSic singers and bass players a teaser of the new music as it is recorded. THESE MIXES ARE AS RAW AS IT GETS. You always get to hear a band’s new music when it is done and sounds perfect, and you go “ooh”, and “aah”, but never get to hear the evolution in production that it takes to make that beautifully crafted finished sound. At this point, we are done with most of the drum tracks, but just starting to work on the final drums’ sound and mix. Next we are recording guitar tracks, keyboard tracks, and adding bass and vocal tracks as the lineup is filled in, then begins final mixing and production. The guitar and keys tracks in the rough mix tracks we are posting are scratch tracks done during preproduction, all tracks posted have been copywritten. New members would be stepping in to a prime opportunity to join us in the studio and contribute their own parts with a full length CD written, shows soon after and touring to promote the CD. Enjoy this week’s teaser and stop by our Reverbnation site at http://www.reverbnation.com/madsic to check out new studio teasers and to keep up to date on the new CD and member search. Also feel free to stop by our Facebook and YouTube sites https://www.facebook.com/pages/MADSIC/402147140318 http://www.youtube.com/madsic1 Enjoy the tunes, and if you are a fan who wants to give their input on the new tunes, or a singer or a bass player looking for a band, give us a shout! Have a \m/ad Sic weekend!!!!!!!!

Madsic invites you to join us in the studio!

Join us in the studio as we finish up writing our new full length CD tentatively titled Death By Machine! While we continue our search for a drummer and a bass player, we have been taking this opportunity to write new music, something we have not done since 2005 due to constant member changes. Coke and Evil are the only original members, but since Franz joined on guitar we have been on a roll as far as writing new music, so why wait until we have new people! As all the tracks are done for each song, the song will be rough mixed and released on our Reverbnation website at www.reverbnation.com/madsic Two tracks have been released there so far, Someone Must Suffer and One Less Reason. We will be posting 30 second clips of new music on our Reverbnation site once a week, on Saturdays. The clip will only be made available to a special group of hardcore Madsic fans, those who are on our email list or fans of ours at Reverbnation. This Saturday’s clip of Sic Or Sweet will be available to everyone as an example of the songs in process. The links are in this email to join our mail list you can go to our site at Reverbnation to become a fan there. Here are the tentative titles of the eight new tunes written so far, we will be writing at least 4 more, we will keep you posted. This is the first new music we have recorded in six years and they are rough mixes but we wanted to give you the chance to check them out. When the songs are finished and produced they will be put on our MySpace site as well. Someone Must Suffer One Less Reason Judication Must Retaliate Lobotomee My Precious Sic Or Sweet Deception The names may change as new lyrics are written.
