There are no words that can express last nights triumphant performance from both BACK ALLEY & ECLIPSE - A Journey Tribute!! We first would like to express our sincere appreciation towards the management and staff at THE FILLMORE in Silver Spring, MD for their extremely professional hospitality and making us feel very welcomed in their establishment! For the group that were in attendance last night, thank you all for your support and rocking out with us last night!! A big shout out to R. R Lee Townsend who was there last night as well! The show was a Huge success and we all could not be any more happier than we are right now for our accomplishments! Allie Miller, Lead Vocalist for BACK ALLEY, was fantastic last night in the opening act! Her stage presence and her vocal talent truly lit up the stage setting the tone for last night! ECLIPSE, a performance that truly tested our skills not only talent wise, but stability as well. To pull off two successful sets of JOURNEY music is not an easy task to achieve, but we did bring our "A Game", and we showed the people of Silver Spring, MD, that we mean business when it comes to the Maryland Music Scene!! Thank you to all who were apart of this memorable evening, and we look forward to returning to THE FILLMORE sometime in the near future!!
Joe Buccheri The best birthday gift ever ! Thank you for having me as your emcee during the greater portion of the show. I had to be back on the air at 1am for my Internet radio show for KTK Digital, so we had to leave prior to your encore. Allie Miller's voice , as I mentioned on stage , is Angelic; I thought I was listening to a Broadway production, her voice is that captivating. You Mike, are blessed with such a fantastic gift as well. There were many times I closed my eyes to listen to you belt out those Journey tunes; it sounded like Steve Perry was on that stage; you channel him well my friend. The entire production was excellent in everyway and the band was tight and obviously well rehearsed. Again, thank you for allowing me the pleasure of taking part in what is a " not to be missed " Journey Tribute.
Hi, My name is Ken Wolle. My friend Richard Patt has stage 4 cancer. He is well known and loved in this area and Texas where he and his brothers, Steve and Robbie have been involved with the music scene. We are hosting a party/ benefit for him & his wife & family @ The Pikes Diner in Pikesville ( the old Pikes theatre) The Club where he & his brothers were involved was the Bluesette on 25th & Charles st. It was in business from the 60s to 70s hosting such people as John Waters, Rick Ocasic, Nils Lofgrin and was the starting point for a great many of the area's best musicians and artists. We will use this occasion to showcase a few of these talented musicians. There will be a Bluesette Style jam with Fred Tepper and the band Phat Janis will play and also Blues Deluxe will perform. Blues Deluxe W/ Denise Dicey will perform at Fraziers on the Avenue on April 30,2011, and a special beneift performance at Auto Fest 2K11, May 21, 2011. Make plans to take in both shows and be part of the future of the Blues, and Baltimore's rich music history.
