I personally admire all kinds of arts. I often wonder how painters can envision their designs and then make them happen. Change has recently put me in the shoes of a painter whom has a clean canvass.
For some, change brings joy and for others it brings misery. Regardless of how we feel about change, I think we can all agree that if we look at with a creative mindset, it is one of the best things that can happen to us.
Recently I have been going through a lot of change. After being raised in Toronto and spending some time in New York State (Buffalo, NYC), I now find myself living in the "South". The experiences of living here has given me so much new material to write about.
I find myself trying out new ideas, revisiting old ones, merging both of them together and having freedom to experiment. Will I create a masterpiece or will it be a washout? Not sure and don't care, because the mere fact that I am creating means I am giving myself a chance to personally grow and learn something new.
So what are you waiting for? Today is your day to start creating something new. "So what" if you "fail". In science, which most consider the antithesis of art, you perform experiments knowing that most of them are going to fail. "Failing" is simply part of the process to creating your best song, or work of art ever. It's a risk to a greater reward. It's been said that to become an expert in a field you have to spend 10,000 hours doing it. So how many hours have you logged into painting your "Starry Night" or "Last Supper"?
Dream, create, and move.
