Howdy, We had a great time at Tiny's last Friday. Thanks to all of our friends and relatives who came to the show.
Howdy We played at the Midtown Lounge last weekend and I think we made some new friends. It looks like we'll be there in March too. We gave away our one and only cassette tape of the band to a fan with a '95 Tercel. This vehicle was tape-player-verified in person, thus qualifying for the free tape. I've been on a Moe Bandy binge lately. He has some of the best drinkin' songs on the planet and his delivery makes you want to laugh and cry at the same time.
Howdy, We're done with the demo for now, three covers and an original. Hope you like it. The holidays are upon us and I'm glad to report that we're playing a benefit for the "Cruise for Toys' right here in Española. It's a car show with the best low riders and custom cars in the valley. Lots of free food, toys, music, and cool folks so come on down!
Howdy, we played at the casino Sunday night. Two hours, four bills, and free dinner. Why, it was just like this back in the seventies. As the old joke goes, "there are literally hundreds of dollars to be made in the music business." We are still recording, so stay tuned.
Howdy, we decided to record a demo on our Tascam 424 mklll 4 track cassette machine. We'll have some stuff mixed and posted in a couple of weeks. We're considering a limited run of cassettes for those of you driving a1995 or earlier vehicle. Proof of registration and insurance must be provided before we send a cassette.
Howdy, We're working on some more drinking songs, most likely by Moe Bandy such as "Honkytonk Amnesia" Also "Pyramid of Cans" by 'Possum.
