I was priveldeged to be one of the 14 local musicians/entertainers recognized by Barrie City Council and introduced to the people of Barrie at the April 30th, 2012, televised Barrie City Council meeting. It was very emotional for all of us to be recognized and set apart as this years winning talent for the 2012 Street Performers Program.
Mayor Jeffrey Lehman said it right last night with the comment, "All the best city's in the world have Street Performers", ..and Barrie is proud to be one of them. I am honored to have my home city recognise me as part of their cultural flavour, for the 3rd year in a row.
Thanks to everyone who continues to support our music. We will do you proud! Jacqueline xox.

WOW. Last week I got the absolute priveledge of contributing some supporting vocal tracks to the new KILLER BEE CD due out this spring. The Barrie Music Awards take place on Sunday, July 17th, 2011 at the end of the New Music week. The public is invited to attend at $5.00 per person. Come early - space is limited. The Venue for the Awards show this year is THE Mansion Night Club, 34 Dunlop St E. Call 705-797-2449 for details!
