Happy Holidays from Cannons North! Thanks to the few folks that toughed out the weather last thurday and made it down to the Cabooze. Well if you missed us then fear not we are playing the Driftwood Char Bar this friday. Cover is only $5 and we will be hitting the stage at 9pm. You better check out because we are not playing out for a couple of months to finish writing and then hitting the studio for our sophmore release.

Hello folks we are almost done demoing for the new album. We are set to record again at Signature Tone Studios late January. We are super excited for this one with our new line up. We got some killer shows coming up around the holidays.

Haven't had an update in a few weeks due to recently moving into my new house. We have also move our rehearsal space into my basement. We have our rehearsal studio and control room for demoing. The Pizza Luce block party was a blast. We got some sweet photos taken by Adam Degross. Next week we will be playing at Lee's Liquor Lounge with Jackson Taylor and the Sinners.

We would like to say thanks to all who came out to our sort of last minute gig at Lee's last night. It was a blast! Three quarters of the band had to slip out early due to babysitters and early morning work. Justin stuck around to check out Noonan and The Dirt Road Ramblers. He said they both brought it! Remember to head on down to the Pizza Luce Block Party on August 10th. Cannons North will hit the stage around 12:45pm.

Also playing at Lee's Liquor Lounge on on Friday July 26th.

We are extremely excited to kick off the spring/summer season of shows with the Midwest Music Festival in Winona, MN. As some may know I am from Winona so it's a real treat to be make our Winona debut at the Midwest Music Festival. We hav...e a great slot Saturday April 20th 9pm at Ed's Bar.
We are also playing in downtown Minneapolis on Sunday April 28th 7pm at the 7th St. Entry with Chad Erickson & the Untimely and also The Lost Wheels.

We took some time off to work out our lineup change. Justin was the perfect fit and things are looking very good. I have been taking over some of the lap steel duties since Peter moved out to Colorado. We got some great shows coming up and some shows pending. We are playing the Midwest Music Festival on 4/20 so we are very excited for that. We are now also talking about recording our second release most likely this fall. -Bucky

Hello! It's been a while since our last blog post but it's been busy around here. There will be some changes coming to Cannons North. Peter is moving out of state we are very sad to see him leave but that doesn't mean he won't be back. Peter will still continue to play with Cannons North but won't always be gigging with us. He will be flying out and play with the band when he can. So that means Cannons North will be searching for an additional member. We are looking for a guitarist with the ability to sing harmonies. So come check us out at Station 4 next friday Feb 1 starting at 8:30pm and will be playing until 10:30pm this will be the last show with Peter for a while.

Back after 3 week break

Excited to be hitting the stage again.
