Short scale guitar...

So as most of you can see, I play on a Mini Martin which is a short scale travel acoustic, and I LOVE IT!!! It all began a few years back, I had recently purchased a Taylor T-5 and didnt want to keep it in the kitchen of the music venue I worked at, so looked into a cheaper smaller guitar to play. Cue Mini Martin... Well my love affair has only grown, and looking back im now stuck in my ways. It feels incredibly weird to play on a full scale guitar now. Here's the dilema I face.... There aren't many options for short scale guitars... either a cheapo kids guitar or a vintage Gibson for around $6,000!!! YEAH!!! So I bought myself a used Squier Mini Strat and it has become my new project... Turn a $50 guitar into something amazing!!! So far, I've ordered parts ($150) and I've begun painting it a stellar orange! I've been taking pics along the way and I'll be posting them to my Facebook page so keep checking in!!!
