The Groove Patrol / Blog

Current projects...

Here's just a brief look at the things we're working on this week:

January and February are always busy times for the office side of the Groove Patrol. We're up and at it every day, trying to make sure our summer time is filled with adventure, new faces, and new music.

The highlight for all of us last summer was the big Summer Meltdown fest hosted by Flowmotion in Darington at the beginning of August, and we're crossing our fingers that we'll be able to come back to that. CD's are mailed to the Joshua Tree Music Fest, Aurora Fest, and Total Fest as well. Here's to hoping....

In addition, we're throwing a big birthday show for our bassist, Josh Simon, in April, which is currently shaping up to host 7 bands, including the legendary Peter Rivera of Rare Earth, whom Josh played bass for this New Year's Eve.

Lots of phone calls and emails to various bars and night clubs throughout the Pacific Northwest. Got a place you think we should play? Now would be the time.
