This is a song that I had written a few yrs, back. The idea of the song came from hearing my wife talk on the phone one night about her dad, and I was downstairs in my studio in Rockford Illinois. Keep in mind that she had lost her dad to cancer back in 1998. For a couple of yrs of treatment and false hope of him getting better, he slipped away. So for many yrs passed and I watched as the anniversary of his death, or a birthday, Christmas or any reminder come around with sad, but fond memories seem to bring her down. The visits to his grave and I find myself waiting alone as I give her space as kneels and the tears roll down her cheeks. I really don't know how hard it would be to lose a parent because I am very BLESSED to still have mine alive. But I wanted to write a song to everyone who has lost someone do dear to them.
We'd just to say Thanks to all the clubs/'bars and fans/friends that have supported us all these years! It truly has been a great journey with lots of fun. Our lineup has changed thru the years but we still try to bring a high energy show every time that we step on stage.
We are looking forward to playing some new and exciting places in Louisville Ky.
