April Update

I am happy to announce that I will be hosting a NEW JAM SESSION every Wednesday night in Milford, MA at Fat Boy Bill's Blues Bar & Grill. Milford is located 45 minutes from Boston and Providence. Joining me will be a rotating cast including Tom Arey, Nate Edgar, Jeremy Parker, Cliff Spencer, Aaron Jackson, and many more. We want to make this night a workshop setting for original music and original arrangements so feel free to bring some charts and your axe. We will play a set at 8:30 and open the jam session for the 2nd set. Please pass the word along to all your musician friends who live in the western suburbs of Boston.

The Brian Thomas Group returns to Matt Murphy's Pub in Brookline on Monday, April 7th. Joining me will be Jared Sims on sax, Steve Fell on guitar, Nate Edgar on bass, and Tom Arey on drums. Come listen to original music!!!

Akashic Record and the B3 Kings are firing back up for April. Come see us at Bishop's Lounge, Johnny D's, and Matt Murphy's Pub.

Paradigm Shift has been recognized as one of the most killin' organ trios in the Northeast for quite some time. They have backed and played with Wycliff Gordon, Marcus Printup, and Dr. Lonnie Smith. I am honored to join them as a guest artist for two shows this month in Buffalo, NY at the Tralf Music Hall on the 24th and my hometown Rochester, NY at the Venu Lounge on the 25th. I look forward to playing great music and linking up with family and old friends. More info to come at the end of the month.

Steve Brown has served as Director of the Jazz department at Ithaca College for 40 years. I certainly learned so much from him and am looking forward to celebrating his career with the Ithaca College Alumni Jazz Band on April 26th at Ford Hall, Ithaca College. Also in the band is Jim Hynes, Paul Merrill, Joey Devassy, Daniel Ian Smith, and Tim Collins just to name a few. Come wish Steve a happy retirement.
