Anita Denny is a local singer/songwriter/musician who has a wide variety of genres, including country, oldies, light rock, gospel and easy listening. She was raised in a family of entertainers who instilled in her a love of God, family and music. Anita sings locally in an area which mostly entails Atlanta and east of Atlanta, particularly in the Covington area. She does a solo act on her keyboard and/or guitar – Anita sings a wide variety of genres, such as country, oldies, light rock, gospel and easy listening. Her venues include Colonel Cob's Corn Maze, various senior events, craft fairs, town events such as reunions, 4th of July, parades, Christmas events, etc. Anita recently sang at the annual Porterdale Yellow River Jam Festival in Porterdale, GA. She has sung at town square events, such as local Car Shows, parades, and volunteer functions. This past year Anita sang at the Corvair Car Show in Helen, Georgia. She sang for many years with the local oldies combo, Cruisin’. Anita also sings locally at restaurants such as Johnny’s Pizza, Smiley’s, and in the past has sung at Jimbo's, Elks Club, Lions Club, Thomas' Buffet, Square Perk Café, Town Center Breads Coffee House, just to name a few. I have performed at the Georgia International Horse Park and a few years ago highlighted the Torch event at the International Summer Olympics. I have won songwriting awards in Nashville and love playing at the local Senior club events at AARP, Ladies Clubs, and local churches. I sing with the house band at the renowned Newborn Opry Gospel and Country Show, currently known as the Newborn Dixie Jamboree.
