Album Update - 6/18/2013

Doing some writing for the album this week! Though I don't just sit down and write, it's never worked that way for me. It's more play the riff or idea for a bit, see what evolves, what expands, and then there it goes. As of right now, nearly five songs are close to being fully fleshed out. Almost half way there out of the 12 song ideas.

And I can not wait to hear this album all the way through for the first time! It's truly an exciting thing, and I can't wait for release day.

Look forward to it later this year! (Get updates on the album on a first-to-know basis, before they hit social media by signing up for the mailing list)

Where do you buy your music online?

Hey everyone! Today and this weekend I'm getting the finishing touches on the songs for the EP. It will be sold through PayLoadz, and CD Baby. Maybe a few other places.

Which brings me to this question (reply by commenting on the RN page)

What distributer would you be more likely to buy the EP, or anyone else's music from?

CD Baby

iTunes

Amazon

PayLoadz

Again, leave a comment (If your reading this elsewhere, leave it on the Reverb Nation page) and tell me which you pefer.

Thank you for taking the time to read this blog, and I can't wait to read your response.

Until next time -

New News - June 17th 2011 - Track listing for the EP!

Hey everyone! I've decided to release the track listing for the EP, and the name of the EP. And a small bit of the what the story is on this concept EP.

The EP is called "The story of the Bravo Team", and it's told about a fictional team of spartan's in the Halo video game series.

The track listing:

Off the Helicopter (Into War)

Defeat

Captivity

9 and 3 Quarters

That's all I'll release for now, but July 12th isn't too far away, so I can not wait to get this thing out!

Talk to you guys soon,

New News - June 16th 2011

Hey everyone! There's a good bit of news to cover, so I'll get right to it.

Some of you already know, but for those who don't, I have a show coming up at The Bone in Deep Ellum on July 2nd. Less than a month away, and I can't wait! It's the first show where I'll be playing the new stuff from my EP.

Also, I made a mistake. The EP isn't coming out July 11th.... it's coming out July 12th (I misread my calendar!)!

And, "Captivity" is done. I finished the recording process on that yesterday, but I'm going to wait to release the full song until when the EP comes out. BUT, but, there is a preview for "Captivity" on the Reverb Nation page and my website, so go listen to it!

That's about it for now, I'll update again soon.

Thanks guys!

Almost time

The time for the EP is getting very close. It's a little scary but awesome that my work will be out for everyone to listen to and give opinions on. It's also kind of weird that the ideas I've had in my head for up to a few years now, are coming to life so quickly and becoming full, legit, songs that you can listen to! But I can't wait for it to be out. I know I really shouldn't be scared but it's just a little nerve racking to hear what others will think!

Also (I don't think I've mentioned this yet)! If you didn't know already, 25% of the sales from individual songs and the EP its self, are being donated to the Abused Women's Shelter in Dallas! So if not for me, please buy the music or EP for the shelter and the people in it! It's a cause that's dear to me, and I would love to help give them anything I can.

So thanks for reading this blog, please share it and the Reverb Nation profile on facebook, twitter, any social networking site you have an account with online. I have to get back to drum track building, so thanks again for your support and reading this post!
