Hey everyone, I just wanted to start off by saying THANKYOU for all the support- I've shot up in popularity overnight and have gotten some nice/ potentially promising leads here on Reverbnation. That being said, I want to take a few minutes and describe what went into making " The Electric Schoolhouse Album". First, The Album was recorded in the Gymnasium at the Brewster school in Durham Connecticut. Why an elementary school gym? well.. It's where I happened to be at the time and is where I can crank up my Fender Pro Jr. without breaking in windows. In all seriousness, a big Shout out to all the men and women of the Connecticut Blues Fife and Drum Corps- They pay to practice at the school! ( I tag along weekly with my mom- their fife instructor). Now on to the album itself- did you listen to it?.. Did you like it? Well if you didnt- sorry. I want everyone to realize exactly how this album was done- A Vintage analog Delay pedal, an Astatic JT-30, Custom Calrad mic, a Cheap sony audio recorder, and the fender pro jr. I mentioned before. There is no fancy editing, recording, or really any thought to the album- it's all a loose jam that happened over the course of 2 hours in this gym. If I think too much about what I want to play it will never come out the way I hear it in my head. So what I did is have the song names done beforehand and just jammed on the concept, which I believe worked extremely well!
best wishes, Adam Fournier
