As the new material is about 2 days from being written... I can't help but to count my blessings and offer up a world of thanks to the many people who have supported me... My second album is due to commence on September 9, 2012. I have found a studio with rich history and amazing vibes to compliment the sound and emotional productions of the album. I have locked down a wonderful producer who will help this album be the best it can be. And not to mention a plethora of extremely talented musicians at my disposal. This album will be unlike anything you have heard from me so far. I think. You will be getting random snippets of new material to "test" out but so far at my live shows, people have LOVED them. So... I will post updates of the studio and my experiences, and once again thanks for everyone's support
My debut album Evangeline has done very well in the open market selling many copies... i have gotten lots of great reviews... so many in fact that I have decided to invest a lot more money into my sophomore album (untitled) and start pre-production in August '12 and slated to begin tracking in early September... These are very exciting times ahead of me, so I'm really just getting strapped in and hoping for a fun ride! Thanks for all the support for without it I could accomplish none of my dreams... Thank you all so much! www.corylandrymusic.com
Well, I've survived the first 365 days of my career as a working professional musician. It's been one incredible ride! I have met some really cool people, made some great friends, and probably pissed a few people off along the way. I wouldn't have changed a thing. I have climbed to number 2 on the ReverbNation site in my area and I'm approaching 3000 hits on my website along with 400+ fans on my Facebook page. I could have never imagined the exposure and how many people would be so receptive to my passion. I am proud to say that my debut album, "Evangeline," is approaching completion and will we available after the turn of the new year. Along with a full thirty minute television show about my music and a number of radio spots, I have been truly accepted by the music community and couldn't be happier. Thanks to everyone who has helped me get to where I am, and continue to help me keep climbing. Looking forward to a monumental 2012!
Well... I've quit my day job... I am now a full time musician! It's probably one of the best decisions I've ever made! It's scary at the same time though... I heard a quote over the week that said "If you're scared, then you know it's right." PERFECT!
