Brown Bronco is a 4 piece Alternative Country band based out of Los Angeles.

Formed in ’09, the band’s membership consists of the following: David Petrie (guitar), Kenny Klein (fiddle, mandolin, and guitar), Jacob Summers (drums), and Dan Visser (bass). The band is often joined by our friends: Austin Mullins (mandolin), Jason “Ace” Gonzalez (pedal steel, guitar), Brent Hoffort (guitar), Rick Armand (Dobro, Guitar), Alfredo Lozano (guitar).

The Brown Bronco guys are strongly influenced by Bakersfield’s brand of country music as well as Texas western swing, New Orleans delta blues and Appalachian folk. All of these influences weave there way through every show. Of course, good ole Rock n’ Roll has a bit to do with who they are.

Brown Bronco’s independently produced album: Buck Owens, We Will Miss You album was recorded in ’09 and was released in May, 2010. Influenced by a variety of Americana, Brown Bronco’s debut album is honest, humorous, raw and thought provoking. Their album has been compared to Beck’s Sea Change album and Bright Eyes Cassadaga Album.

Over the summer of 2010, Brown Bronco is frequently gigging at LaBrie’s Lounge (formerly the Scene Bar) in Glendale CA. David Petrie is currently organizing a bi-monthly country music at LaBrie’s Lounge called “The Riverside Rancho Presents.”

Though Brown Bronco’s debut album has been called melancholy and moody, Brown Bronco’s live show is energetic, dynamic and fun. Brown Bronco is a new band and is already creating a buzz.
