2017: ambient guitar instrumental in the high desert...all guitar, no synthesizers
Originally from the Front Range of Colorado, Russell Carl Kline is a composer and guitarist whose diverse influences range from classical to industrial. After performing with several bands in the San Francisco Bay Area, he has recently been working in his home studio in New Mexico. An interest in cymatics and the healing power of sound have been a major focus of his latest creations.
While recording "The Magic Hour", Russell has used no keyboards or synthesizers-all sounds are guitars, piano, percussion instruments, and a drum machine. Vox, bells and production assistance by Lorraine Kline

From the ArenaCast Interview:
"Like many musicians, my life in music started out at the local church choir...piano soon followed. Along the way to San Francisco Bay, played at more places than I can remember, altho some shows stand out more than others-the usual and unusual club, warehouse, restaurant and gin joint (I miss you, Berkeley Square!), performing music therapy at Napa State Hospital for the Criminally Insane (not as a patient, ha-ha), and open mike jamming with anyone willing. I've learned to take life less seriously (Thanks, Fluke & FZ ), had the privilege of teaching children how to wrestle with the guitar, taught myself how to tune a piano, been on call for the Medical Marijuana Movement, and busked in the BART tubes."
Musician, lover of human rights, spoonie. Disabled by SLE since 1992.

“Your guitar playing is just fantastic. From the very first note it becomes totally captivating. Your timing and delivery is spot on but above all it's the haunting moods which you deliver. Great compositions and skillfully executed.
