Rob. A! (born Robert Lamont Allen in Camden County, New Jersey) is an American recording artist and Grammy nominated/multi-platinum singer, songwriter and producer. He is known for layering soulful vocals over rhythmic pop tracks. He creates unique vocal backgrounds and arrangements with his signature studio engineering style. He was discovered in early 2008 when choreographer Flii Stylz introduced Chris Brown to Rob. A! Soon after, they collaborated, and along with Andre Merritt, Brian Kennedy and Polo Da Don, co-wrote two #1 songs back to back in June 2008: "Forever" performed by Brown and "Disturbia" performed by Rihanna. With these two songs, Rob. A! became a multi-platinum songwriter. He then went on to co-write the Beijing Olympic theme song “Dreamer,” also performed by Brown, which peaked at #3 on iTunes and debuted at #16 on Billboard’s Hot Digital Downloads chart.
By August 2008, Rob. A! had signed a worldwide co-publishing agreement with Sony/ATV Music Publishing. Within the first year of that deal, he continued to work closely with Brown as one-third of the “Graffiti Ariztz” writing team and placed a number of songs on Brown's "Graffiti" album. During this time, Rob. A! was also collaborating with Omarion (“Comfort”), J. Holiday (“Heart Attack”), Mario (“Need 2 Be There”), Kelly Rowland (“On and On”), R.Kelly (“I Love the DJ”), Usher (“Music Mind Control”) and Jessie J (“I Need This”) amongst others. Despite this success, Rob. A!’s burning desire to change the music industry and re-direct the spotlight to his recording artist career have become his main objectives.
Rob. A! has created the perfect name for the launch of his movement: "The RoBellion." Rob. A! describes "The RoBellion” as his effort to reset the tone of the music business. He explains, “I want to pave the way for true talent and creativity to be noticed. Music has become packaged and mechanical with the exception of the veterans that have total freedom in their art. The variety of unique voices and character is missing and I’m going to bring that back.”
Rob. A! is a recording artist, vocalist, producer, writer, dancer, entertainer and visionary, but most importantly, he is... the FUTURE!

He also wrote tracks like "I Need This" for Jessie J and the very, very good "On And On" for Kelly Rowland. "My expectation is definitely to change the game. For people to realize that there is some real talent out there that they're overlooking. I feel I am going to open people's eyes to a different perspective of music. I feel like I am going to be someone to be reckoned with; I am going to raise the stakes and raise the bar.
