“Guts N' Teeth full length out January 18th! We stripped our punk rock down to “guts” and our Bluegrass down to “teeth.” Now we’re naked and letting it all hang out with our first full length – Guts N’ Teeth. This album was made with the hopes that it would fall into the right hands – someone that would really appreciate our unique arrangements. We couldn’t believe that the perfectly manicured hands of Fat Mike would catch it! Now it’s your turn. Have a listen and let the banjo steal a little piece of your heart. Pick up a copy at one of our shows… we want to talk with you, dance with you, drink with you! See ya on the road. OLD MAN MARKLEY have confirmed their record release show for January 13th in Los Angeles at Echo.”

“Old Man Markley join Fat Wreck Chords... Barely a moment after we first posted this story about the upcoming tour featuring NOFX, The Bouncing Souls and Cobra Skulls, we found out that the opening band on said tour, Los Angeles, CA nonet Old Man Markley, had joined the Fat Wreck roster. The label will release a new 7" from the band entitled For Better, For Worse on October 26, 2010. The title track from that slab 'o wax is available for download here. Not only that, but the group will be playing some shows on the west coast both later this month and around the time of the record's release.”

“Imagine touring with a nine-member band whose core members make up a legendary Los Angeles punk rock band. The band is Old Man Markley and the group has taken its love for punk beyond its boundaries with the roots music of bluegrass...”
