COLD BLUE REBELS, the BLACKJACKITS & NOX ANGER and the JERK OFFS $8 BUY TICKETS ONLINE: http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/347821 DOORS: 9 PM / SHOW: 10 PM COLD BLUE REBELS: Out of the graveyards and onto the stages, Cold Blue Rebels mix the driving psychobilly beats of fifties rock with the gore ‘n’ schtick of classic horror films. The band is de-composed of three veteran Sunset Strip rockers: Mickey Finn – Vox/Harmonica, Danny Dangerous – Bass, Joe Normal – Guitar and a fresh-faced zombie drummer, Al Diablo, who have returned to haunt the nightclubs and howl with a sound that grows on you like moss on a crypt. Cold Blue Rebels trace their gnarled roots back to a twisted version of the birth pangs of fifties rock n’ roll, when Elvis Presley’s curled-lipped sneer met the startling onstage antics of Jerry Lee Lewis. Three decades later, in the heyday of the Sunset Strip, the demon seeds were planted when lead singer, Mickey Finn and his hard-rocking glam band Jetboy, signed with MCA records; and, Joe Normal and Danny Dangerous inked a deal with their purple-haired, glitter rock outfit, The Zeros. Out of those dyed-roots sprung friendships that lead to musical collaborations; and, in 2009, their undead selves emerged from the earth as Cold Blue Rebels. Leaving no taboo unturned, these gentlemen from the grave force upon you a stage show where like some horrific scene you cover your face, but you can’t look away; and, all the while your toes are tapping and your hips are swinging. Since the band’s inception, Cold Blue Rebels have been actively recording, including their full length album, “Blood, Guts, & Rock ‘n’ Roll” on Horror High Records and their upcoming EP, “Love of the Undead”. The boys have contributed singles to compilation albums as well: “For Those About To”, “Psychobilly Goes Pop”, “Halloween Rockabilly & Psychobilly”, and “Rockabilly & Psychobilly Madness”. Cold Blue Rebels signed with Libertalia Entertainment booking agency in 2012. They have shared show bills with TSOL, The Meteors, Koffin Kats, The Rockets, The Quakes, and The Mentors and will be opening for Mad Sin at their only U.S. show in 2013. See Cold Blue Rebels!
