Q: Hi guys! Thanks for the inspiring music that you share. I was wondering if you sold the manuscript for 'This little light of mine'? Love to hear from you, Lisa

A: Hello Lisa! Thanks for the question and we're glad you're enjoying our music. The version of "This Little Light of Mine" we performed is based on the arrangement published in "Lead Me, Guide Me," the African American hymnal published by GIA Publications in Chicago. The vocal arrangement is pretty much that part, verbatim, and we would have used the same chord progression as well. The brass charts were arranged by me and we could make those available for sale if you were interested. The piano part sprung from the mind of my lovely wife (and our piano player), Ann MacPhail, so that was unfortunately never written down. I hope that answers your question! Feel free to give us a shout back if you have other questions for us. Peace! - Matt MacPhail, NAE
