Through every word and silky-smooth tone she lets flow from her sultry voice, the German born singer/ songwriter reaches deep inside of you and pulls from your well of emotion buckets of nostalgia, overflowing with memories laced with joy and sadness.
Born to a French/Vietnamese mother and a German father, Nathalie fell in love with music at a very young age and immersed herself in intensive vocal training and performing anywhere she could. Eventually this led her tour throughout Germany with the successful Motown cover band “The Hot Cookies”. When Nathalie finished studying film and animation in Europe, she decided to move to Toronto to continue chasing her dream of singing. Inspired by Nathalie’s vocals, deeply saddening lyrics and haunting melodies which are the product of her life long series of events of a tormented childhood and umatched love, renowned jazz musician George Koller produced her first EP ‘Odyssey’, executive-produced by Blues legend David Clayton-Thomas. Nathalie has recently worked on a few singles with iconic producer and film composer Jono Grant who has produced albums for Juno award winner Richard Underhill, Kim Stockwood (EMI), and John Southworth.
She continues to attract more talented artists with her abilities as Nathalie is now backed by Miles Jones from MoJo Records and his team who are working with her on sound and artist development.
Nathalie had the pleasure to appear as a radio guest host for the Leonard Cohen Show on radio AM740 where she vocally covered her favourite Leonard song.
Currently Ms. Kraemer can be found laboring hard in the recording room working on her next EP with Miles. She has solidified herself as a favorite in the Toronto jazz scene as a performer and creator. Nathalie continues to sing at multiple venues alongside other acclaimed jazz musicians.
