Morgan Leigh / Press

“It wasn't all terrible performances this Wednesday--two groups in particular, the Swagettes (Melinda Ademi, Kararmia Ousley, Denise Jackson, and Candice Glover) and Raisin' Kane (Morgan Leigh Boberg, Lauren Mink, Brandy Hotard, and Jenny Beth Willis) truly stood out. They were so great, in fact, that if things don't work out for them on "Idol," they should stick together and audition for the Groups category on "The X Factor" next season.”

"Lot of cowgirl boots up there," Keith Urban says, as Raisin' Cain -- a quartet that includes Morgan Leigh Boberg, Lauren Mink, Brandy Hotard -- takes the stage and begins singing the Dixie Chicks' Sin Wagon. "I do declare, my, my, my," says Nicki Minaj. "Southern girls, I think that was a mighty fine job." They're as good in their own way as the Swagettes, so they get through.

“Raisin' Cain -- Morgan Leigh Boberg, Lauren Mink, Brandy Hotard and fourth unidentified girl kick up their cowboy boots on a fun and twangy version of "Sin Wagon." Nicki does her best Southern belle impression and announces that they all pass muster.”

““It’s really important for me to give back to the community,” Morgan says. “And not just to give back, but to help the people who are really helping others.””

"She has a huge following of local fans as well as other musicians who get an opportunity to open for her as she tours around the greater San Diego. With her hit songs, she is sure to be a huge success."
