Moonshine Crossing / Bio

January 11, 2013 was the beginning of Moonshine Crossing. Following a departure from his band at the time, Appalachian finger-picker, Mark Smith wasted no time moving forward assembling a new project. After a brief phone conversation with Bob Wilson (Bob Zilla) the die had been cast for a musical experience the two veteran musicians did not expect. Having known one another for several years, Smith and Zilla had played together at various shows, festivals, and parties. Every time they crossed paths there was never a shortage of great music and moonshine so the band name was already there. With a degree in Fine Arts in Music Performance as well as experience performing in multiple projects ranging from jazz to bluegrass Jordan Trent has been the perfect cohesive addition to the band. Together, the boys have honed their skills, bringing forth a foot-stomping, high energy experience for all who see them live.
