Led Zeppelin homage returns to shake off the winter chill! Joining us on The Underground tip is none other than the inimitable DJ Dynamite Sol, and cover for BOTH parties is STILL only $5, so I ask you, what better way to kick off a holiday weekend? RIGHT! In 2007, 27 years after the group disbanded, the surviving members of Led Zeppelin reunited (along with John Bonham's son, Jason) for the Ahmet Ertegun Tribute Concert at The 02 Arena in London. The band were honoured with the "Best Live Act" prize for their one-off reunion at Mojo Awards 2008, where they were described as the "greatest rock and roll band of all time". According to Guinness World Records 2009, the concert holds the world record for the "Highest Demand for Tickets for One Music Concert" as 20 million requests for the reunion show were rendered online. Led Zeppelin is finally releasing a full length feature film of the 02 Arena concert called "Celebration Day" which is screening in select theaters on 2 days only- Oct 17 and 18. Santa Fe is NOT on the list of theaters screening the film! What to do? Fear not Rock fans, MOBY DICK to the rescue! Santa Fe's best (and only) Led Zeppelin homage presents an evening of balls out rock and roll – unveiling tons of new material drawn from the 02 Arena concert set-list – at Evangelo's! Don't miss your chance to see music history re-imagined by one of Santa Fe's hardest rocking and elusive bands! ONE NIGHT ONLY! Moby Dick at Evangelo's, Saturday October 27th at 9pm for a paltry $5! Moby Dick (Santa Fe's best n' onliest) Led Zeppelin homage will be mooring the blimp for our last show of the summer at the world renowned Evangelo's cocktail lounge on Saturday, July 28th from 9-1pm! Consider yourself cordially invited to join Andrew Primm, Peter Williams, Micah Chappell & Mikey Baker for an evening of out and out Rock and Roll debauchery! As always, the inimitable Dynamite Sol is gonna be tearing it up downstairs at The Underground, and as always (I'm pretty sure) one low cover ($5!) gets ya into both parties! Moby Dick's last show of the summer~ THIS Saturday July 28! Penguins! Blimps! Whooping Cranes! Abridged Tarot Readings! Bikinis! Sea Lions! Swimming! Real Live Rock & Roll! Save the date! Cheers!!!
That's right; Santa Fe's two favorite tribute bands together again for one night only... MOBY DICK & LOVE GUN!!! Sat May 19th, 9pm at Evangelo's!!! Mikey's turning 46(!), and Jamie's celebrating her – well, a gentleman never tells – but AAAWWWWHHHHEYYY! It's Tauremini Birthday time, and here at Kitchen Sink Productions that can only mean one thing: time to throw a totally overthetopridonculous bash that's even bigger than last years! The Led Zeppelin inspired Moby Dick had the night on the books at Evangelo's, but then our friend Jamie told us that all she wanted for her birthday was a little KISS; who are we to refuse? So we're pulling out the flashpots, the spandex and the makeup for a rare non-halloween performance! Love Gun will kick off the night at 9pm SHARP (Nick likes to start on time) so don't dawdle! Later on Moby Dick takes the stage, with a very special second set... we're gonna be playing the immortal classic Led Zeppelin 2 top to bottom! If there's anybody left standing (band included) for a 3rd set we'll just have to see... Seems like we pretty much always wrap it up with "War Pigs" though... ;) So save the date, and come help us celebrate! Saturday, May 19, 9pm at Evangelo's! Cheers!

“We all know and love Mr. Baker as the former owner of Corazón, the education director at The Candyman’s Rock School and a member of cover acts Love Gun and Moby Dick. But for those of us who have actually taken the time to watch what this dude does with a guitar, he has a different name—hero. Oh, I’m sure he’s reading this right now and blushing, but I can recall a particularly excellent Gluey Brothers performance inside the Lamy train station during which a friend and I turned to each other in disbelief of Baker’s guitar prowess. It was one of those moments where you realize that while you thought you were producing great guitar stuff, there was some dude out there effortlessly making you seem foolish. Now then, when’s the next Deus Crepitus show!?”
