NoiseTheorem expects his Transistor set to be 'a mix of fully improvised and partially pre-recorded electronic material making use of of several hardware devices, FX and a modular synthesizer. The only software involved is the squishy gray stuff between my ears. More musical than noise, and difficult to define.' Millipede's Transistor set will include his trademark mix of cinematic atmospheres and driven, broken rhythms, including pieces from his forthcoming Hymen Records CD. Visual accompaniment will be provided by video artist Byron Durham.

Dirk Ivens has influenced countless numbers of bands and genres and you can count these 3 support acts among them who exhibit some of the aspects of Dirk Ivens and his many projects. We are treated to an evening of noise, IDM, Torture-Tekk and EBM. As mentioned, this is only one of 2 us appearances that Dive will be making and if that is not enough to convince you to come to the show, Killing Joke is playing the next night at the Empty Bottle so what better reason then these 2 events do you have to clear your schedule and head to the city for this "industrial" weekend? “The editing tricks and micro-processed beats are out of the equation, Hill is practicing what has become anathema to many electronic artists: musical evolution. Emphasis is now given to breathing space in these compositions, a wild and unkempt environment to let your mind stretch out in. Don’t try to keep time with what you’re hearing, Millipede are now all about undoing conventions.”
