Private Show: On Saturday, December 5th, I will be playing an intimate house concert in the north part of Capitol Hill. The space is very limited and it's RSVP only. I love this setting so much. It will allow me to perform songs that just don't work in the traditional music venues. I have so many of these songs and look forward to sharing them with you. If you want to come, here are the details… Deborah Dewey is hosting the event in her home. She is a fantastic pianist, wonderful person and has a beautiful Steinway grand piano in her living room. There is a suggested donation of $10, $15 or $20 and beverage/ snack if so moved. RSVP by emailing Deborah at firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and how many people are in your party. If it fills up, she will start a waiting list. You will also receive the address with any other instructions before the concert. This is first come, first serve - so please respond asap if you want to attend. Music will start around 7:30 and I'll play two sets of music.
I will be doing a session on careers in music and pedagogy techniques for students, faculty and the general public. The session will last an hour.
This will be the third year in a row I've played the Shoreline City Hall outdoor concert series. They have a cool old grand piano and a nice amphitheater-shaped lawn. This is a really fun family event and the musicians playing with me are top notch. Music will go from 6:30 to 8 - so come early! D'vonne Lewis will be playing drums. D'vonne is one of the busiest drummers in Seattle and for good reason. You can see him practically every night of the week and his band Industrial Revelation is getting some serious traction. Keith Lowe will be playing bass. Keith is a master and has played with Fiona Apple, Bill Frissell, Zony Mash and countless other amazing acts. This one should be a blast. There is no cover. Bring a lawn chair, blanket and a picnic and we'll provide the entertainment.
New Radios - featuring Skerik, Wayne Horvitz, Keith Lowe and Bryon Vannoy. Klozd Circuit will also be on this bill. They are an amazing group of musicians who play some cool, funky grooves.
Love playing with Michael Shrieve! Known for his work with Santana for years - one of the most musical drummers I know.
