UPDATE Monday 11 May It is with regret from all the Rock Crew and guys from Mayfield Drive that we will have to postpone at very short notice the fundraiser and night of Foo Fighters to a later date. Due to Mark getting a new job recently after being out of work for a bit all his plans have changed and shifts have been laid out which can't be altered at his new post which now clashes with Friday. He has tried his very best to negotiate with his new employers but nothing can be changed which is very much understandable so please don't give the guy a hard time. All the lads are gutted as we are at the Dread as I know a guid few were coming to see this and wanted to donate. It wouldn't be fair on the remainder of Mayfield Drive to even try to play a very difficult set without him so the best option is to postpone the Foo Fighters Element AND fundraising element, to a date still be be slotted into our schedule in the not to distant future and one that will work in with all the lads. I'll keep you posted on that but need to see how the job pans out for Mark the Evil Bassist. Before you say anything it was his idea to call himself that to lighten the mood a bit. So on Friday Mayfield Drive will play a short acoustic set accompanied by Cousin Kenny. Normal covers charges will now be back in place so it's Free Up to 8.30pm the £3 at the door with free entry for all VIP card holders.
Many thanks to Mayfield Drive who have stepped in to play this Frday after the scheduled headline band Warhead were forced to withdraw at late notice and I decide to withdraw the full line up as a result of that. Jay Scally from Cousin Kenny will open the night with an acoustic Set. Much appreciated from him and Mayfield Drive who despite playing a set at start of the year were well up for another gig.
What better way to kick off the new year than with TWO local bands who always Rock the Dread. Excellent to have SEED back after a wee break - last show they supported Mr Dan Reed a couple of years ago so we're looking forward to more BANJO Rock. Live action from approx 8.30pm - 11pm Free Entry upto 8.30pm then £3 at the Door. Your cover charge ALSO includes your entry to the nightclub all night long. Nightclub entry after 11pm is £5.00 Last Entry to club is 1am
The Palmiros headline the "Purple Orange Bathgate Music Festival" with an 11pm slot, get down from 12pm if you've got the stamina for 12 hours of live music!
A full night of Mayfield Drive Classics and Covers. It's been a long time coming and at last it's here.
