"I Still Miss Georgia" kicks off Mark Appleford's fifth release of all original material in fine fashion. The song sets the stage for what is to come: solid songwriting with music driven by piano & harmonica playing that can lay back & then move the songs at just the right time..."Voodoo" is a successful recording and should serve as a nice introduction to anyone unfamiliar with Mark Appleford.
""Still Singing Along" wow Mark. Awesome song and vocals. L.A. best wishes."
"Appleford seems most at home alongside his raspy harmonica on rowdy blues romps like “Last Look,” “Overhead Low” and “Little Drunken Ghost,” but his gravelly voice is almost equally fitting for the dreamy verses of “82 Days” and “Lady of Second Chances.” Surprisingly though, it’s somewhere in between where Long Time Between Drinks really begins to shine."
"...deceptively simple songs and Mark Appleford’s reedy and strangely familiar vocals."
