Annual Royalston MusicFest, Noon to 5 PM: This all-afternoon event sponsored by the Royalston Cultural Council is always lots of fun. It's free and open to the public and is located at Bullock Park, which is behind the Post Office (1 Athol Road) and across the road from the Royalston Fire Station at 4 Athol Road, Royalston, MA 01368. It will be moved to the Royalston Town Hall if it rains. The Royalston Fire Department will have the grills fired up to whet your appetite for burgers and dogs! Linq's set starts at 2 PM.
The Royalston Follies are back with a special night of comedy skits to help celebrate Royalston's 250th Anniversary! Linq is one of the lead characters in Wildman Folly, a musical comedy about Royalston's own Charlie Richardson, who played some hijinks on the town in the late 1800's.
The Meeting House Stage provides comfortable and friendly atmosphere where acoustic musicians, poets, and spoken word artists can perform in front of an appreciative audience. I'm the featured performer this month.
The annual Arts in Bloom Spring Festival sponsored by the Performing Arts Collaborative will be held at Butterfield Park, East River Street, Orange, MA, from 11 AM to 5 PM. Vendors will have their crafts and other wares available at booths circling the bandstand, where musicians will perform throughout the day. I'll perform a set, time to be announced.
I'm the featured performer at this nice new coffeehouse. Come on over!
